I'm considering getting the ammit 25. Not because my Nano or Exo aren't working out, I just really like the look of that build deck. Also because DJLSBVapes and MikeVapes on YouTube both gave it a great review. I don't know why, but I really trust what they have to say.
Anyways, update on my Nano versus Exo single coil showdown! I've been using the Exo in 6ml configuration, and it is right about the same as the Nano on flavor. I'm still running both with 316L SS fused claptons, 26ga cores, 36ga clapton wrap both right around .2 ohms and firing at 50-55w. Running different juices in both now, and I've found that that is the deciding factor. Whichever juice I'm in the mood for is the tank that's on my Alien. Either way, both is working really well, I got them both for roughly the same price, and both are easy enough to build and wick. I honestly can't say that someone should for sure buy one or the other. I was concerned about the bottom airflow and juice flow control on the Exo as a possible leaking issue, but I've had no problems with it. So I guess in a round about way, my comparison has hit a stand still, and I probably haven't really helped anyone make a decision one way or the other. Lol Maybe I'll get the ammit 25 and throw it into the mix to see if I end up with a true 1st place for single coil rta. However at the moment the Nano and Exo are in a neck and neck tie, and I'm the real winner.

Welcome to the Engine Nano fan club! Ordered my second last week. Would enjoy hearing your impressions on Ammit25. Thinking I'm probably going to end up running single coil rtas on all my mods.
I gotta say I'm really loving the airflow on this thing. I have never been a fan of top airflow until now. It's so smooth and the leak resistance is a plus.

I decided to try a kanthal coil today and learned that the wicking can be finicky if you don't get it just right. I guess I lucked out with my first build but after changing it today I had to rewick it 3 times to get it right

Got a pic of your good working build? I keep my coil between the post holes and close to the polls.
That's where I build mine. And I wick it just like an rda tails just covering the juice slots not poked down thru them. Seems to be working for me. No more dry hits and I can chain vape and it keeps up. This tank has impressed me so much I ordered 2 more in each color

I have my tails thru the holes touching the bottom. I tried it like you and found no difference. I should get a couple more.

I sure wish they would build a blue 30 mm nano so I could justify buying a Kevlar blue sx mini g class

Can you show photos on your coil positioning in your OBS Engine Nano.
If you don't mind, I wish to see it from the top, front and side views.
I believe my problem with this tank is coil positioning, I just could not place it the right way and keep getting dry hits.
If your getting dry hits I don't think it's your coil position as much as your wicking. If your going to position the tails of your wick thru the holes it must be thin enough to move freely so it doesn't get choked off. I prefer to leave the wicks fuller and just have them cover the holes. This method has eliminated the dry hits for me.

I'm not having any issues with mine. These have been working great for me. I was only curious as to how others set theirs up. I find these the best tanks I've used so far.
some people are also using rayon vs cotton which wicks better, cut your ends in a "V" and just rest them on top.
Same here. This is still the only tank I can wick and get it to work consistently. It flooded a few days ago so I put it aside and used some other tanks like the Merlin RTA & the Kylin RTA. I can't get a good vape out of the Kylin but I need to give it more time since I only got it today.
I'm back to using the Engine Nano with a fresh wick & coil.
I've been messing around with a Merlin Mini the last few days and it's not tasting too good so far. I have to try another size coil I guess.
I haven't used the Mini before. Just the bigger one. The flavor has always been good but it's been better on the Nano for me anyway.
Same for me on the Nano... I have to be doing something wrong on the mini.
the best thing about the merlin is the drip tip, that is why it is on my nano
I hate those big open mouth pieces. I'm afraid bug is going to fly or crawl in it and get fried... That would taste nasty.
