do you get good flavor putting the coil that low?
been shelving my Engine Nano for a few months and I cant remember how exactly I place my coils, my current build is raised flush and close to the top of the post, getting muted flavor.
Great flavor with both of mine built like that.

I keep it there so both air holes hit the coil on each side. Works for me on the 2 I use daily.

Yes it works, a BIG thank to you ricks!

I use a 4mm SS316L fused clapton coil, plug it as close as possible and horizontal to the post holes. I can chain vape it at 21Watts, 4 to 5 times without dry hit.

So... got the Serpent SMM & it is a great rta. I still prefer my Nano's. SMM deck is great & flavor very good (edge goes to Nano), not crazy about airflow. Works well, just noisier than what I'm used to. I just love my Nano's. Thinking about ordering a couple more for back-ups. Think I may have gotten addicted to the Engine's!

You folks might actually talk me into getting out my nano. After my disappointment with the kylin, I fired up a couple Merlins.
I'm trying a Merlin Mini that I find works ok. Not as good as the Engine Nano tho. My Nano's are still my Favorites.

I'm finding these engines to be as foolproof and leakproof as it gets. I've yet to find anything negative to say about them.

Are you using the dual coil ones? Or the single coil, on the dual coil ones w/ the top airflow I'd agree, great tanks.

Finally tried one of my Merlin Minis on my Rolfape Warlock (because the diameter fit is better) and I am not impressed. Freakin' bubble lock like crazy on that RTA and it's really ticking me off. It's Halo regular juice (which we know is higher PG than most) and the damned bubbles won't go away! :-x

May have to go with the Engine Mini and see how that one goes, but I avoid dual-coil tanks like the plague, so it may take a few months for me to get to it.

Yeah, I don't get the best flavor from it. I'm using 95% PG liquid in it and the flavor is just so-so... I will try another size coil and see if I can get it better.

The main negative thing about them is the juice consumption. I wish they had a 6ml version. Why don't more companies make RTAs like the Engine Nano? I have consistent problems with all my other tanks but the Engine Nano has been working out really well once I got the wicking down.

I want to try this one next I think... Serpent SMM RTA by Wotofo
I got SMM last week & enjoy it. Deck is great! Nano is still #1 on my fav list. SMM may make it to #2 if I can figure out how to get the airflow quieter. Flavor for on SMM only good if af 1/2 closed down IMO.
