So Cal
I think I'm about to jump on the Odin bandwagon when the next lot are released! But I just want to check with you guys first (I was following the thread, but may have missed this): I love my RM2s, but will the Odin be even better for mouth-lung hits, or is it just much better for lung hits (which I don't do). I'm a flavor chaser, not a cloud chaser, since I can't tolerate much VG.

Okay, Craig . . . Obviously, I'm messing with you.

What's wrong with this picture?

The good news is that my Odin should be here tomorrow.

Have a great weekend, Craig.

I tried to take a closeup pic of my setup, but my camera just won't seem to focus. But I just love this Odin. I am using 28g, 5wrap on a 1.5mm gizmo mandrel, two coils for a .41ohm total. I'm using 2mm RxW and it's working like a champ. I threaded it in and curved downward to where the tip of the RxW is touching the bottom of the well. The other end is only about 1/8" long as there's not any room on that side of each coil. I wanted to try this RxW to see if I can make it work well, and it does. I was using KoGenDo, but I was still having to change out wicks every couple days. So, we'll see how this fares out. This is by far my favorite atty. I've got another coming, as well as a router tip that I found. I will get another Odin and more tips when they come back in stock. My standard Grand is definitely going to have to go to the spa for the LP treatment so I can put one on that one too. Thanks to all of you folks who introduced this atty, and to Craig for making such an awesome piece!

I really don't understand comments like this. Sorry don't get me wrong I'm not trying to criticize you but there seems to be this general feeling here. "whatever you do don't speak about other mods"
Well first of all an atty isn't a mod and frankly we're all Reo lovers here otherwise we wouldn't be here showing off our Reo's. Sharing our experience about an excellent atty that so much complements the Reo vaping experience is a bonus for all of us.
Please forgive my rant as I said not meant to blast you
No worries Cap'n!

Just some light-hearted remarks.

I use other mods together with Reos regularly too. Sorry if it seemed that I was promoting a "REO supremacist" sentiment.

I agree that this forum should be a place to exchange views and share our experiences about our hobby and not one where we condemn others' likes or interests.

I'm sure this is what everyone here thinks. Otherwise there will be hate posts and replies flying everywhere.

It is the fact that everyone here respects one another that draws my participation.

From personal view and experience. The Odin could work due to its afc but you would probably enjoy the other smaller atties just for that mouth-lung hit more so.

I couldn't think in my previous reply why I wasnt a fan even though it's a quality rba. This hits it exactly. I do a lung hit a couple times a month, and explains why I enjoy the smaller atties. This is why we have choices, unless you don't like the REO, then there is something wrong with you lol.p

Couldn't resist getting the second reo , or second Odin... baller. I love the sl most of all! That's got unflavored. Thanks for the recommendations y'all!

Very nice looking pair you have there. It took me way to long to get a Hammertone but it has become one of my favorite. It will sport a Odin sometime next week. It is currently sitting in Cali waiting for a ride to Texas.

I am very much a fan of the SL's. I have a few (10) sitting around here and there.

I am not sure who to send my bill to either Craig for making it or Russ for recommending it but someone needs to pony up for the juice, wick and wire I am now using. Good thing I buy in bulk.

I have always been a single coil guy. Enjoyed a tighter draw than most and enjoyed my vape immensely. After having the Odin with dual .9's under the hood I am opening the airflow and building duals in other mods just to get horsepower to satisfy my needs.....:D

I keep telling myself I am not going to start the direct lung hits. I am not going to start the direct lung hits. I am not going to start the direct lung hits. ok..I am pretty sure I will not start direct lung hits because I loose flavor but it is no wonder we have had so much rain the last few weeks with all the clouds I am blowing.

I am however still a little impressed that I can get the flavor from such a big atty. When the next one arrives I will build a single coil and give it a try just for comparison.

Only complaint I have is it is not pocket friendly during the work week for me. People look at me funny with my Haggar's on the ground. I'll be saggin' for sure. Not to mention the security guards at the site where I work will think I am carrying a weapon. I guess I can tell them it is my vape cannon. Dang thing is solid and well build like the REO.
