You Da Man Super X, the Odin didn't like my 26 ga. so I switched to 29 and this baby is ROCKIN'. Should have listened to you in the first place. Thanks

I hear ya. I think two full contact micro coils with 29 ga at 6 wraps on the second smallest rod producing 2 one ohm coils netting .5 is a very smooth, robust and cloudy vape. :)

I've got that exact same setup in all 3 of mine. My fourth is due to arrive today. The mod it will go on should arrive early next week. I'll set it up the same way :)

Well my fourth Odin arrived today as did my fourth Loki Lab Router drip tip.

Now all that's missing is the TRA SL LP that should be here early next week and I'm set :)

Is that from the jewelry kit? I have one. But, I lack the wing nut accessory you added... I'll have to give that a try.

Just got mine today and I set it up with dual micro coils using 28awg Kanthal at seven wraps on a 1/6 drill bit for a resistance of .49 ohms. I wicked it with some 2mm ReadyXwick and fired it up for an extremely satisfying vape. I compared it side by side with my Cyclone w/AFC (same build, freshly charged batteries, same juice, coils in front of the air holes, etc.) and both performed the same (except as noted below). I really believe that, for the most part, the quality of the vape depends more on the quality of the coil build rather than the atty design (and because everyone has different preferences this makes the vape quality entirely subjective). However, there are other things I like about the Odin as compared to the Cyclone.

1. The vape on the Odin is much cooler than the Cyclone (likely due to the larger air chamber and all that steel acting as a heat sink). If you prefer a warmer vape you might want to stick with the Cyclone.

2. Building coils is much easier on the Odin due to the large deck and traps for the negative leads. Also, it's easier to line up the coils with the air holes due to the reference points built into the base. No more marking hole location with a Sharpie.

3. The large juice well on the Odin holds a ton of juice for less squonking and keeps the coil well off the deck (and helps alleviate the symptoms of my inattentive over-squonking).

4. The air holes point to either side rather than to the front on the Odin. I carry my Reo wherever I go and this has led to many occasions of e-liquid leaking out of those forward facing holes on the Cyclone AFC while walking about. In conjunction with the large drip well I don't see this happening nearly as often with the Odin.

So, yes, awesome atty. I do believe it justifies the purchase of another Reo.

As well, I just wrapped for my Odin. I did dual 28 w/ 7-8 wraps which came out to .51. I have to say the Odin was very easy to work with and I am surprised that I get as much flavor as I do. I love the deep well and, well, don't tell the wife but she'll be signing for another LP soon as I'm getting another Odin. These things are great. Especially for the price.

A Very Happy Camper!

We should have more available end of next week.. like thurs or fri.

I personally think the Odin and 454 are on two different playing fields and shouldn't be compared to each other but thats just my 2 cents.

SoCalCraig - I have seen different opinions on running single coils on the Odin. What is your opinion? Was considering getting one for my REO. I would eventually run dual coils but for now would start out with running single. Thanks :)

You are right , Russ the SS1 tip rocks!!

Looks pretty good on the Odin but the Router looks better.

Then I put the SS1 on my Atomic and OMG. Looks like it was made for it. Anyone with an Atomic should go to Loki Lab and get this tip!! The vape is awesome!

Pardon the Silver Bullet in the pic but I haven't sent the Atomic to Chowder for the BF mod yet. When I get the Odin back the Atomic will be taking a trip to Chowderland!!

Yes. Looks like a great match. What I really like about the Loki Lab products I've used is that not only do they function superbly and look awesome but are also are burly, hefty, well machined pieces. Kinda like the REOs we put em on - a great combination.

That's why I switched over completely to their attys and tips :)
