Why won't Diet Coke work? Can I substitute Diet Mountain Dew? What about coffee?
Did you check the build on an ohm meter / voltmeter / or another mod yet?
If yes, then chances are you just need to tighten it down a little more. I have 4 Odins - two factory BF and two modded to BF and all of them work perfectly on all my mods (3 REOs and a pdib OliveR)

Super, my ohm meter will read it and I can get it to fire on my mechs with an adjustable post, but it won' make contact on my REO. I have it cranked all the way down... won't go any further.
I just got two delivered today... It's great! Super easy to build on. It had a little machine oil taste because in my excitement, I forgot to clean it first. All better now. 28 gauge dual twisted coil, 8 wraps. .4 ohm. Wow!

Just completed a 28ga dual coil ID 2mm 8 wraps..comes out to 0.7ohms, which is what I was shooting for. Just got rid of the hot spots and they are heating evenly. What a breeze it was to build on this puppy! Letting them cool down and Im about to wick em up!
Ok, I loosed the 510 connection a bit and got it firing. I'm not sure how I feel about doing surgery on a brand new REO...

Woohoo! Sounds awesome and ya, I never trust USPS tracker. 99% of the time!, totally inaccurate.
ETA- exactly the same ohm I'm hoping to get once I try it out. I have 28g here and also have 30 g coming. Probably go for the 28 first
I got my Odin in this morning. Shipped on Tuesday... Took all of 15 minutes from receiving it to setting it up. 27g 1/16" dual micro's @ .51Ω and the AFC wide open, chucking vapor and flavor isn't too bad either. I am very surprised it isn't as airy as my Atomic or Trident. Still trying to figure that out.
I think they are very close. IMO the odin has more airflow, from what Ive tried so far, but Im using the SS1 driptip with that and the KFL+ DT with the RM4...
Just got mine last night, but no time to build. I just got it cleaned up and built with 28g at .38Ω and KGD and wow! It's kicking ....! I was going for .5, but missed it by 1 wind, but it's awesome! I'm using the .45 dt and love it. I'll stay with this for awhile while I put my cyclone to bed for a rest. I just have to get another LP grand!
I always wash new atomizers with soap and water to remove any machine oil. Usually I taken them apart and let them sit in a Tupperware of hot soapy water for an hour or so and then rinse.
Dawn dish detergent is a very good cleaner for removing residual manufacturing oil. When I get a new atty, I just give it a quick soak, and then rinse it off real well.
I've got an Odin question for you all. I brainfluffed last week and ordered a non BF Odin and now I want to have it modded for BF. I need to know that the 510 and center pin are stainless. Of course I can't tell cause I'm clueless with this stuff, but I'm assuming they are stainless. Can anyone confirm for me?
