Just had to stop in and say, I've built my first dual coil today and my Odin is hitting like a freight train and cranking out some serious vapor. Woohoo........ I need to thank Craig for making this beast and a very special thanks to X for the recommendation on the atty and the videos that guided me with the build. :toast:

Banks, You definitely want the lp and the odin is arguably the best atty on the planet and a good bottom feeder is definitely the dopest setup by which to vape!

I have an LP Grand with the Odin right now.. I want another LP REO for sure, I just can't decide if I want the OG or the SL. I love the way the SL looks, but it doesn't seem comfortable for some reason... but I'm probably crazy.

A 2nd Odin for the 2nd REO for sure!

For me it did. The RM2 just wasn't really doing it for me for some reason. Maybe I was doing something wrong, I dunno. I am pretty new to rebuilding.

I wanted to LOVE my REO because in theory, you can't get much better IMHO. So, I started searching alternative BF atomizers just as people started reporting on the Odin, so I went for it.

I love it so much, that I'm now deciding if I want my second REO to be a SL or not.. just have to make that decision. Then I'll want a third REO, I'm sure.

Beats the RM2, Plume Veil and TOBH.

I totally agree. I have the RM2, the RM4, the RM5, the Tohb, the Plume Veil, the Mephisto, the Zenith, the Tugboat, the Stillare, the Magma, and the Origen and when I said the Odin is the BEST VAPE I ever had I 100% meant it. I don't know what or how Craig did it but the Odin just kicks out killer taste. I don't think it's wise to compare it to the RM2 because they are totally different beasts. The RM2 is a single coil atty not designed for subohming (although it works fine to about 0.6-0.7 ohms) it really shines at about 1.2 ohms. I can't compare the two because they are designed for different style of vaping.
As a long time vaper who enjoys the taste of drippers and now the convenience of bottom feeding I believe the Odin is the very best I have tried by a long shot.

Lets not forget that vaping and taste are very subjective issues. Style of vaping varies so much from person to person and what may be great for one may not necessarily satisfy or be enjoyable to another.

Anyway if you enjoy dual coil bottom feeder RDA's I think you should really try the Odin.

My only gripe with it is that the top cap sits real tight on the deck's o-ring but I expect with time it will sort itself out. Other than that I think the guys at Loki Labs have hit it out of the ball park with this one.

Deck o-ring fix.

Lube...

Take a drop of juice put it inside the cap near the bottom. You can put it directly on the o-ring if you desire. (I found it is less messy to do it the way described below)
Gently spin the top cap on the deck. (no downward pressure)
After one rotation. Push the cap down and spin to desired location/airhole placement.

Nice and easy.

Any idea what would be involved in giving the Odin a black or copper finish? I've got a black wrinkle Reo with a copper vein door and copper button cover, and it would be great if I could get a top cap for the Odin to match one of those two colors.

Send the top cap to OCD mods he can set you up. :D

From you track it hasn't left California yet :(
Don't lose Faith Shipping to Canada is a Crap shoot. It will show up. I have had tracking numbers stuck in the same place well over a week then they started to move again :)
It's definitely not the senders fault
This is what $23.50 for shipping gets you;

Florida Chicago New York and LA Is were most of my shipments leave the US. Any were else in the US they are sent to one of these sort facilities for international dispatch. The last scan reads ICS when it leaves the US. I'm pretty sure His shipment has not left the US yet :(

All Canada bound shipments I've made have also made double stops like that in the Chicago area, so I'm guessing one is regular and the 2nd is the international forwarding stop.

I got a tip for you to copy. :D

In all honesty, I have enjoyed delrin. The business I went to for my injection molded peek insulators informed me delrin contains formaldehyde and is released under heat.. as a responsible business person I can not make delrin tips anymore.

We got into vaping for its obviously safer benefits. . Why incorporate risk?

Hey Craig,

This is concerning....you got any links you can post? I love me some delrin tips, but would like to make an informed decision.

Information on delrin/formaldehyde is all over the internet.

Delrin is polymerized formaldehyde. If you get it hot enough, it will break down and release formaldehyde gas. Very irritating to the eyes and nose.

I don’t know if you can get Delrin hot enough from machining operations to have it catch fire, but be aware that it burns with an invisible flame. If you see a piece that is foaming like a wet Alka-Seltzer, it is actually burning.

Delrin® acetal resins are semi-crystalline, thermoplastic polymersmade by the polymerization of formaldehyde, and are alsocommonly referred to as polyoxymethylene (POM) .

In the case of Delrin® acetal resin, decomposition is almostentirely to gaseous products, so pressure build-up can be rapid .The product of decomposition is formaldehyde .
As with any acetal polymer, Delrin®, when overheated, candiscolor and form gaseous decomposition products, which arelargely formaldehyde .
