Done with trying to get one of these, like 10 times now, I have hustled and struggled to come up with the money to get one then to have them sold out on me!

Just bouts of bad luck, i'm sure. Perseverance is key, my friend.
No reason to use the money you squirmed and save on cigarettes - i read your thread.

You can PM SoCalCraig (Loki Lab) and he is quite responsive.

For the money you'd be hard pressed to score a higher quality AFC atty, let alone one as easy to build and vape as well :)

Am I the only one thinking these are overrated. I wish I would've bought another cyclone instead. My opinion only obviously. I think it just varies from my normal preference to much.

If you are not impressed with it I am sure it will go quickly in the classifieds.... The last one I saw in there was gone in about 15 minutes....

The only thing that I have found to be overrated is the costs of my $100.00 plus RDAs, when compared to my Odin(s).

Silly me, as I thought that price equated to a better vaping experience.

I'll gladly take it off your hands! As much as I love the Cyclone, it's not doing anything now. For me, the Odin rocks.

CL, as I had replied in your thread, don't give up the fight so readily. However, if you are looking for a reason(s) to return to the nails . . . So be it.

Once again Super X- great "tips" vid on the Odin! I'm going to recoil mine this weekend and try some of those tips. I only have 28G and 30G K A1 wire. What do you guys think would be better to use to hit around .5 or .6, warmer vape and TH? I use a 16g luer to wrap with but I also have two 18g luers too.

Don't know why, but I prefer wrapping with those luers and I don't have a fancy coil gizmo thing like in the vid. I wouldn't wanna scratch up my dining table where I build anyway

Thank you.

I'd try 16 ga luer lock needle 5 wraps of 30 ga each coil :)

If you wanna go 28 ga you'll prolly need 8 wraps per coil :)

Did craig mention he's going on a vacation this weekend or is it me that's needing that vacation?

@CL since joe A doesnt like it, why not buy it off him?

You don't have to scratch up the dining room table at all Angie. I was fortunate to receive the 1/16" rod from Russ and made my own jig, (so to say), that I put in the vice in the garage to do my coiling... Its not the prettiest way to do it, but it is very efficient though. Creativity is the name of the game and since I have been vaping, (almost 4yrs now), creativity has played a very big part in keeping me off analogs. This is a pic of the jig with a rod I had made from some bailing wire, but I think you'll get the point here. I just drilled a 1/16" hole and am now using the rod Russ sent me now....

Cool! For me....I do not have a work bench, I don't own a drill, my lighting in my garage is horrible and I actually like wrapping my own coils even tho I seem to lose count from one to the next cuz bright shiny objects fly by

What gauge wire to you like best?

I have 27g, 28g, and 29g in my arsenal, but find myself using the 27g most often... Can't remember the last time I used 29g... I tend to vape in the .4-.6Ω range mostly and like having as much surface area that I can get. Was thinking of getting some 26g or even 24g to be a little on the adventurous side at times...

Almost forgot, thank god for the magnifying glass and or the cellphone to get a better look at what i'm wrapping... I can only see out of one eye clearly and it needs a little help.

The cell phone trick (I forget who first told me about that) to see how many wraps is next on my MUST do list!!! You'd think it would be easy to count to 8 or 10 or what have you, but geez! I always lose count...pathetic, I kno.
