it leaks from the center post or from the 510 threads soul?
Thanks Imeo.
I wasn't ignoring you.... just waiting for this tank fill to get down to half way or less to see if it leaks with this set up.

And it does.

Without taking the ceramic out of the housing, everything looks tight and whole. I do not see any holes anywhere.

I hate to take it apart, but I will a little later this afternoon and report back.

While free, you unfortunately still have to pay for shipping.
Yeah that is a bummer. I just PM'ed Bruce asking if he could send it along with my Penelope that will be shipping soon. Hopefully that'll be okay with him. Even though it's 'usable without' I personally like that extra insurance that my ceramic will be okay. Plus is makes loosening and tightening the lower post but much easier.

Imeo, what is the size of the O-ring that goes into the ceramic that we're missing? Perhaps I could pick one up here in town to use until the one from Bruce gets here?

Once again though, the Ody is TRULY a work of art! Very well built, wonderful craftsmanship. Can't wait to get my hands on a SS GGTS and my Penelope! I'm now a huge fan of yours!

you can just boil it assembled, I am sure it will be ok Brand:)
Sorry for the continuous questions Imeo... But now I should boil it? Or just wash it with dish soap and water..? Boiling it sounds like it would really do the trick, just worrying about the O rings/ceramic part, they'll be okay? If not too much of a hassle, could you please let me know the steps that you would suggest? Thanks a billion!

I cant get my ody to work. I have now built 4 coils and still the same thing. When I put it on my provari I get e1 error message. Cant get it to fire. Put it on ego and silver bullet with the same outcome. Watched Scott's videos and Phil's and am doing everything exactly the same. What am I doing wrong?

Side note... My ody has a metal channel on one side of the ceramic channel where in all the videos I have watched they don't.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it leaks with the mouthpiece closed?
it leaks when you refill only?

Are you sure that you screw the ceramic housing very well inside Ody's base?

Is the center post screwed well on the ceramic housing?

Not always with the mouthpiece closed, but yes, at times.

It leaks from about half full down to almost empty.
Usually. I do have times when it leaks no matter how much is in the tank.
Also, this is usually with large mode, I do get occasional leaks in short mode.
This can either be first fill after building a new wick/coil, or refills.

The ceramic housing itself, I believe all parts are put together correctly, and flush/tight.
When I make a new coil/wick, I put the knurled ring over the top.... maybe a few cm. Just far enough to hold everything.
Then I screw the rebuildable part into the base as far as it will go. (I'm using the GG base, not the 510)
Then I tighten the knurled ring down until it is flush and tight against the base.
Then I put the mouthpiece on. Firm, but not tight tight. Just until it meets the ring as I figure I will be loosening it eventually anyway. I was putting it on tight, but was worried I was unscrewing the housing so I stopped doing that. Either way hasn't made the leaking less.
I have had the housing and base so tight it was difficult to get them back apart.

And, as I put above, I believe all parts of the housing are well connected.
If I attempt to wiggle anything, nothing moves.

Hi, jebey. You have the latest version of the Odysseus which is why you have the metal channel.

Have a watch of Navy_Lifeguard's excellent tutorial. He uses the very same version Ody that you have so if you follow his steps you should be good to go :)

What works for me is the one with the metal channel on that side of the ceramic. The coil will always be on the out side of the ring.

So this is my first time posting here but felt the need after receiving my Odysseus order today. I purchased one in short mode & 2 in drip mode through COV, and got my order today. Now I am a dripper so I also purchased additional adapters to turn the one in short mode to drip mode. I now have three that are in drip mode & this is my first experience with rebuildables. In one hour I had all three working perfectly on my first try, all at about 2 ohms. I have to say that I have never gotten better flavor out of my juices until using the Odysseus. I just wanted to give my thanks to Imeo for making such a wonderful product & they work so well that I noticed Bruce still had some drip modes in stock & I had to purchase another, I also have a Penelope on pre-order. At first I was a little nervous about purchasing so many without first trying the product but now I can say my fears are over and I am in vapey bliss.
I also want to thank all the wonderful people that post here, as if it was not for you guys I would probably not have made the purchase.
Again thanks to Imeo, and everyone here for helping me make such a wonderful purchase,
Dave

thank you very much Ty:)
o-ring is 3x1,78 or 3x2. 3x1,78 fits easier inside ceramic.
