If I could not get a hold of Resistance wire (Nichrome or Kanthal) I think I would tear apart anything that created heat(blow dryers, Irons, etc..) just to keep from going back to analogs full time.

Quick question. I'm finding mixed answers on this. What is the width of the silica wick that comes with the Ody V2, and Penelope? 3mm? 2mm? I can't find a straight answer.
The 2mm wick is picky on the Ody. If it's not sitting perfectly in the channels it will flood.
The Penelope is less bothered by it, but the 3mm wick seems to work better there too.
Both the V2 Ody, and the Penelope, keep their neg wire down much better with 3mm.

After experimenting with a single wick (3mm) from COV on the V2 I went for the double and it's pretty much the perfect vape for me on the GGTS with adaptor....very moist/rich vape. Haven't re-wicked the Pene with a double yet but sure it won't disappoint either.....juice and air control make this what has to be the ultimate vape as I can't imagine better.....looking forward to pairing the Pene with the Proteus soon.....

The wicks that came with my Ody V2, and my 3x Penelopes, along with 5 packs of extras purchased from COV are all 2mm. I had one 3mm bag in the lot of them! So I was basically given the old wick with all of these new tanks.
Not a thrilling discovery at all.

R53_Dave - Have you tried wrapping the negative wire around the wick, ever since I saw the video from Imeo that is the way I have been doing it and it has not wiggled loose and lost contact.
I placed the negative wire in the channel subsequently the entire length of two or three threads, hug a wick. Contact is excellent.

I just received my first GGTS yesterday and wanted to echo this statement. Up until now I was liking the Penelope better than the Ody. But with air control, the Ody now blows away the Penelope in flavor and throat hit! I really don't see how flavor could ever be improved more than this. I am getting more vapor with the Penelope at the moment but for me flavor and throat hit are more important. Without variable voltage though, I am having to wrap 1.3 ohm coils in the Ody for the vape quality.
I do have a question that I hope can be answered here. I prefer the look of the TS when it is not showing the telescopic tube, in other words, when the top tube or the collector/air control tank sits flush with the bottom tube. Can someone tell me what batteries I need to use to accomplish this? I currently have 18350s and 18490s but neither one will allow me to create the desired configuration. Will the retheader ring accomplish this with the 18350s. Keep in mind, I do not want to use this without the collector/air control tank. Thanks
I just made coils for my Ody, and a Penelope with my one bag of 3mm wick, and the neg wire isn't an issue anymore.
Also gone is my flooding problem on the Ody when in full mode.
To be clear, I measured these wicks with a digital micrometer. The 2mm stuff falls through the jaws on the micrometer @2.2mm. The larger wick wont fall through @2.89mm.
The 2mm wick isn't a big deal on the Penelope's. The neg wire was fussy is all. No flooding though. The Ody is a different story. I was cursing it for days and days and here I was using wick that was too thin.
Oh well, I'll get it sorted out.

The 3mm wick seems to work best in the V1 Ody too. I use short piece of the 2mm to double the wick at the coil.
