Hi Imeo, I have a quick question regarding the ODY... Why does the wick need to run all the way down the two channels and be cut at the level of the bottom o-ring? I guess I don't understand this since liquid will be making contact with the part of the wick which is much higher up above the ring under the mouthpiece... What would happen if someone was to cut the wick shorter and leave the end of it higher up?

Thank you.

I believe the wick also acts as an insulator for the wires running through the channel, to keep them from shorting out on the juice regulator/mouthpiece

Thanks Torque... Yea I noted Imeo talking about making sure the NR wire is under the wick on the side where it goes all the way down to the positive post. I was just curious if there is another reason why the wick needs to go all the way down and on both sides.

this is imeos answer for how the odysseus with close the fluid control waters the wick with fluid

Once you close the lid, very small amount of fluid passes through the campaign. Also some liquid passes continuously through the reels of the piece with ceramic screwed to the base of Ulysses. The liquid that passes through the coils results in light of the lower base of odysseus. There has created a very small reservoir which is air-tight from the bottom o-ring of the central pole and the liquid gathered there watering wick which bring back the liquid over again for vaporisation.

I PM'd Rip as soon as I confirmed that I was getting the review unit. Bruce has him covered. If Silent PMs me I've got it for him, retail + $6 shipping from me. I don't need two, and as long as there are GG subforum regulars that missed out I'm not going to cash in by putting it on the classifieds, either.
I wonder if ripple and silent sat this offer I know they both missed out

Thank you for your explanation. I had to read it a couple of times to make sure nothing is being lost in translation. So, if the wick is cut too short, the ODY could flood and some of the liquid may end up settling in the bottom and never vaporize? I just want to make sure I understand correctly. Thanks.

Well let me know, I'd be interested (although that post probably wasn't directed to me lol)

I thank you too guys. I wouldnt be able to do that alone, so me and Greek seller asked 6 more people to help me with this. These guys did an exellent job and finally I was on time. The best thing is that all these guys were Greek vapers and they knew exactly what they had to do.
