Ahhhh, I have reached vaping nirvana. Following the advice of what others have posted I took it apart and ran components under very hot water for a long time. I could not get the ceramic out of the metal sleeve so kept that part whole. Then, I soaked for 5-10 minutes in hydrogen peroxide and brushed parts with this. Then ran it under hot water for a long time again dried off and assembled. I also used the stock wick and wires and torched the wick and soaked it in everclear and dried it off.
I used a stronger flavored fruity juice than what I had originally used but nevertheless it is vaping clean flavor and it is a fog machine. I let my wife try it and she coughed because it was vaping huge plumes compared to what she was used to. She noted no off flavors and this means alot since she was able to detect off/soapy flavor last night with a Vanilla juice when I was unable to. To be honest, I was disappointed last night not in the device or the performance but in the vapor flavor only. I was second guessing why did I get this when I can get cleaner flavor from my cartos and so forth. I know it has been stated but clean it and then clean it again and once you think you have it good and clean...clean it again. Use different cleaners on each run, use scalding hot water, maybe boil it, use everclear/vodka, use hydrogen peroxide or anything else you can think of. Your efforts will be rewarded with the best rebuildable atomizer available and possibly the best vaping experience available. Thank you soooo much Imeo, you are the Yoda of the vaping world.

Nice.. so that's two of us with copious hot water, H2O2, then more hot water.
Welp I decided to go for broke and it paid off. I managed to get my ceramic off and cleaned it and the rest of it again ceramic had a bunch of black stuff on it that came off with some scrubbing and vodka and now the soapy taste seems to be gone.
It might just be the ticket hopefully we can get more of the family to try it and report back. Thanks for the advice.
Great to hear good results rolling in. Since I did the whole cleaning bit with the ceramic separated, the odd taste is gone! And while it is not a beuty to the eyes, I managed to make a 2.4 coil (I am a cooler vape guy @ 3.7) and it is rocking my vaping world! Many thanks to Fright who gave me some pointers as well as all ther est and Para's cleaning tips. I am one happy camper right now! 
Oh! And I am trying to help locate a guy that I am surew is just my senility that prevents me from recalling.

I built what the multimeter said was 3.5 (plenty of room) but now says 4.5 (gotta figure that out) so I put in 7.4.. OMG.. Flavors that had become dead are very alive and well.
I recently switched down from 26mg to 18mg.. I might have to go to 12mg as I can't put this thing down now.

Gosh, if you get this thing clean and have good coil built it reminds me of taking the best flavor you ever got off of dripping an atomizer combined with a leak proof and easily (this part can't be overstated) refillable tank and I just don't see how it can get any better. I made a 3.3 oHm coil and am vaping at 5.0V on a lavatube only because my adapters have not come in as of yet to mate up to my SS GGTS.
I average about 3-5ml of 18-24mg juice per day so this is the perfect setup. I am left wondering how Imeo will attempt to best this product. But, I'm sure that has been said many times before and has gotten him to where he is today.

I have only banged my teeth once and I am sure I will learn not to really fast. I actually really like the mouthpiece. I can't lie I wouldn't mind it being slightly longer (I like long mouthpieces) but otherwise it is great. However due to really bad luck I have never used a SS GG mouthpiece so it is something to get use to when you are use to the derlin.
As to the clear window I hate to speak ill of the device because I think it is much better then the iAtty and I also think once the GGVV addon comes out it will completely replace my UFS and because parts are coming but, my one little change would be if I had designed it I would have made it 24mm in dia to match the UFS so UFS pieces could be used on it. This would have also allowed a bit more capacity.
next Imeo will invent the Acme hole. This will allow the tank to hole limitless amounts of juice but still be the size of the Ody Dripping setup.
You can use the stock GGTS.. it's just not pretty. Remove the collection tank, and attach to the bottom assembly.
Again, not pretty but you'll be getting 10.9w (@6v) rather than 7.6w. 10.9 on an atty that's putting all the wattage on the wick should work pretty well.

Getting much better taste after a second/third sonic bath in my PGA. I used my jewelers glasses to look over parts and could see trails of glitter so even though I did three sonic baths, hot water rinses, and toothbrushing.
I like the idea of using different cleaning solutions such as baking soda, peroxide, and someone from Greece mentioned using boiling milk.
On this last go round I also used a brand new coil (also), 1.8 oHm at 3.9v currently. Also used the 1/16" wick from the Wickstore. Just another piece to test. Had to use my nails to coax the wick into the channel but it went in and the ring moved over it without snagging or cutting it.
I think one more good cleaning in the AM will do the trick. Odysseus definitely puts out the vapor. No complaints there. The adjustment of the cone for juice control is smooth. Lubrication of the o-ring in the top cap is vital. As a test I didn't lube up the top cap o-ring and was then easily able to cause the cone to spin when opening the top cap. Of course it needs to be a snug connection between cone/mouthpiece and top cap to prevent leaks.
I completely dismantled my Odysseus. 16 parts in all. Cleaning and some photos taken. I noted that on my second Ody that the o-ring that goes between the ceramic/metal and the center pin was the same size as the one on the opposite end. On Ody #1 it was teeny tiny and had to be screwed onto the threads of the center pin as we see Imeo doing in the vid. This same sized o-ring did the trick and I haven't had any leaks so in that area the o-ring is interchangeable.

Took a dry toot off the Ody I have put aside for someone lucky. EXACT SAME soapy taste. That cinches it for me. This Ody was still as I received it, in the plastic and hadn't received a first bath. My other Ody had been cleaned, (not well enough) had my supplied coil, and the Ody wick.
