I'm thinking it needs some kind of plastic cover. AAMOF I'm going to see if I can mod a carto condom tomorrow to cover the SS. It'll be fine in summer, but during the winter that SS is just too darn cold, and collects lip gunk like crazy.
Am I the only person thinking Imeo can we please get a Derlin Mouthpiece????

Ok ok I was just joking but getting use to the SS is a bit odd. I can't wait for big mode so I don't have to fill every 30 seconds!!

Hey Fright, here I sit hoping Imeo makes another fancy SS mouthpiece for the Odysseus. No way would I personally use delrin. See how we are all different??

Imeo should answer that. I personally use 0.15 or 0.13 for my Iatty. 0.20 results in less flavor and vapor for me. However, for the Iatty Imeo recommended::

Wick was bought from here:

http://www.wickstore.com/Products/Ro..._1376-100.aspx

no resistance wire was bought from here:

http://www.wires.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh000...#aNI0236_2d050 50g 0.236mm Nickel Wire

heating wire was bought from here:

wires.co.uk : Bare Nickel Chrome / Nichrome Section 50g 0.16mm Nickel Chrome Wire
or if you want thinner wire you can buy 0,122mm ir 0,132mm

After too many experiments, the best vaping experience with Iatty is with a 1,5 ohm resistance to my opinion. The wick inside Iatty is fat so it can easily handle the liquid demand. And there is also the liquid control that can allow us to use different liquids (thin or fat) and to feed more or less the Iatty. You can still put a thinner wire (0.13 for example) to have more smoke or to be able to put bigger resistance (e.g. 2ohms)
For 6 volts I recommend 3ohm resistance.

Make very tight threads and close each other
Buy 0,13mm wire for even better results.

From the origional Ody videos I liked the look of the mouthpiece however I keep having other bills happen whenever the SS GG mouthpieces are in stock or they get over sold so this is my first time actually using a ss mouthpiece. As the day goes on I am actually getting quite use to it. I've had my Ody about 12 hours and vaped almost 3 full tanks through it so that goes to show I am bairly putting this thing down lol. Mostly though I was messing around trying to be funny.

I set mine up this morning. A good cleaning, a quick review of the videos & I'm vaping my head off. This is by far the most exciting improvement to my vaping experience yet. It's dead easy to assemble. It doesn't flood or leak. The flavor is spectacular. What more could you ask for? The only thing I can see as a potential downside would be using it on a mod without airflow control. I ran mine for a minute on my ProVari (2.2ohm @ 4.2v) and found the draw to be a little airy, but still very acceptable. On the GGTS it's pure vaping bliss. Thanks a ton Imeo!

Just made a quick and dirty mouthpiece cover out of a carto condom. Fits perfectly and protects my lips from the cold SS. Just poke a hole in the end and you're ready to go.
My dirty old mind really wants to make some kind of off color remark about this but I'm gonna show a little restraint and pass, lol.

Here's the Ody on my Sterling Silver GGTB

As soon as the family goes shopping I'm heading to the basement to make up a wooden mouthpiece cover.

I put this together early this am to see how it worked out. Came out great. What i did was to lightly coat a pencil in vaseline. I then glued the orings together, side by side into one longer assembly. The vaseline on the pencil kept the orings from being glued to the pencil. The assembly slides on and off with a little effort.

The three larger O rings are just on there to facilitate a quick spin off the top cover. I can refil this thing in a few seconds now. Just a quick flick onthe cap and everything is exposed. I really think its cool that i can look right down into the coil

Ok to let loose with all the Freudian inuendos

Ope. Just in on this. OK, so I wasn't the only one getting a slightly perfumey taste. I so do not want to take the ceramic apart. Off I go to take the ceramic apart and clean again. And clean and clean. :) Is it really necessary to take the ceramic apart? Really?

I did not take my ceramic apart just ran all the parts in very hot water for 5-10 minutes then in hydrogen peroxide bath for 5-10 minutes and brushed all parts with the hydrogen peroxide then rinsed under very hot water for 5-10 minutes and no off flavors here. I would suggest boiling the parts before and after the hydrogen peroxide bath but I have not tried this myself so do so at your own risk.

After 4 cleanings, I'm more and more convinced that the ceramic piece is what is giving off the taste (which is actually still present for me despite multiple cleanings and a couple 8+ hour soaks in PGA). I've got a pretty sensitive nose, and after my last cleaning, I gave each and every piece a good sniff. Absolutely every piece is completely void of any odor at all, except the ceramic. Under my nose, the ceramic gives that soapy aroma (had my wife give a few sniffs, and she agreed, it's the only piece that has any smell at all)

I seem to be having a hard time finding a happy medium as far as juice control goes. My typical use goes something like this:
good puff x2 or x3,
dry taste (half turn open),
dry taste (half turn open),
very dry taste (half turn open),
flooded gurgling and juice pooling in battery connection
blow out, dry off stealth cap, repeat

Seem to be having a wicking issue, which leads me to open it up to the point of flooding. Anyone else experiencing similar? I'm considering trying a different position with the ends of the wicks (like trying to leave part of it untucked, but not sure if that will work)

Ah, yes. Thanks for the cleaning tips.

Cleaning completed. Dropped it in some boiling water, soaked. Drained and added baking soda, let it sit. Got my nerve up and took the ceramic apart. Continued washing in baking soda and rinsing with hot water and sniffing at it. did that a few more times and then soaked in baking soda. Dried and reassembled and it's up and rolling again and delicious. I really had a hard time getting rid of the smell on the ceramic cup. I even tried toothpaste. The taste is mostly gone and I'm really enjoying it now. Also found that the coil was pretty resilient, and that's a nice discovery!

Noticed at some point in disassembly a little piece broke off the bottom of the ceramic... not the main tunnel/the exposed part, but one side of the tunnel that drops into the bottom cup. Don't see a replacement cup on cov yet so that may have to wait until the other parts come in. I hate that I did that, but I can't tell a difference in vapor, so I don't think it's going to be an issue.

ETA: I agree with you, bp. I think it's the ceramic, too. By far the hardest piece to deodorize.
