So you have nothing to say on your honest opinion of SS wicks?I'm happy for you.

Since the thread is for the Odysseus and since I don't use the SS mesh wicks for it; why discuss it? The last time I used a SS mesh wick was with the Iatty. It was OK, but no where near as good as the XC-116. With the Ody, the XC-116 is AWESOME, but a doubled standard wick is pretty good as well. If memory serves, there were a few folks who preferred SS mesh on their Iatty.....maybe they'll use it with the Ody and share. So you have nothing to say on your honest opinion of SS wicks?

Because I want to use SS wick. If my memory serves me correctly, anyone who got the SS wick working on the iAtty, they prefered it. How did you prefer the XC-116 over the SS wick? I have had both (Yes mine was kiln fired.)and SS wick wins hands down imho.
Also I was dissapointed that Imeo did not state the real reason why he did not want to use SS wick, i.e. because of copyright and instead said it was because of health reasons.
If we are "friends" here, I would of liked to have been told the whole truth.
Well lied is maybe too strong a word, withheld the whole truth I would say.
You said the reason was health, I put it to you, it was mainly because of copywright of the genesis style atty, why you steer clear of SS wick?
Fine, I will await Imeo's response; thank you.If you're asking a question, fine. Ask away.
SS wick will be useless after the part I am making for the coil Nature. SS mesh is very dificult to be made, it requires torch and has a dificult preparing method, you have to be careful not to scrab the oxide from it while wrapping the coil etc. Its not for everyone but even experience users makes mistakes preparing it. I am making something very easy for all of you

Hi ALL,
I have to say that I am going to posting several reviews of the new iAtty 2 (Odysseus) and already I am thoroughly pleased. It is FAR FAR better than anything else that I have ever used. It is truly amazing. I will upload some you tube videos after a few more days of testing but if everything continues to go as it has been so far I would have to say that there is nothing that can even remotely compare and I have tried almost everything on the market including the Bulli AT entire series AT, AT-2, etc.
Please do not just take my word for it, get one for yourself from Bruce at COV. He is very helpful as is Imeo himself. Some of you may think that the price is steep but I am here to assure you as far as what you get for the price it is worth every last penny and I intend to tell the world about it if I have to put info up on this forum and others as well as post information to facebook and anywhere else that I can think of. Imeo is the only person that has spent time promptly replying to all of my email long and short, and some of them where surely novus question.
I was originally thinking that since I already have an iAtty 1 that I wouldn't need to get the iAtty 2. Well as stated earlier, I am so happy that I took the plunge because altough the iAtty 1 is a great addition to my collection it just doesn't have the flow control or the variable placement center pin that the Odysseus has much less to say nothing of the flexibility to use it with other versions like the one that can work with a dual coil cartomizer. There is also the long version that has a clear window etc.
There is just not enough space and time in the forum thread to say enough great stuff about this thing. Needless to say I am a big fan! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments that I can answer objectively for you.
Thanks Again Imeo and don't stop the great work. Because of people like you I haven't had an analog in over 7 months. I have told my entire family about my success and have converted several of them too.

But I have already said several times on GG forum that I dont trust materials that an ecf user desided to use on his mods and I strongly prefer to use CE2 wick that has all the CE and ROSH certificates. You put your opinion as a fact when its not of course Carol. And I dont understand from where this conclusion came from. To speak the truth, I am a little surprised by your post and I felt a little strange too
If you think you are healthier with SS mesh you can buy a mod like this or try to fit mesh on Odysseus, I never had a problem with this nor with all my friends that tried to put mesh on Iatty1.
I had no problems working with the SS mesh on the Iatty; just didn't prefer it so you are mistaken. I prefer the 116 for all the same reasons you prefer mesh. If you want to use it....use it. Mesh, 116, stock wick; it all works really well and everybody gets to use whatever they like best.
What's your problem? It can't be some bogus copyright issue so what is it really?
Yes this is normal. Some people have had good luck with dry burns but for me it never seems to get cleaner so I torch it to get it clean again.
Does it look kinda like this?
