dont forget to burn the ceramic Vapor![]()
Oh, all right... I feel like the soapy taste is completely gone by now but if you say that I should burn the ceramic anyways, I will. It shouldn't be a problem because mine comes out very easily. Thanks.

Ody Dual Coil!
Hey guys and gals, I have been chatting with Imeo and he thought some peeps here might be interested in this instructional video. Believe me, it is AWESOME!
Jason
Hey Major - you got that 2.6 at 6V yet

And now for the stupid Odysseus trick of the week:
I was so proud of my 2.6 coil and enjoying the NFL playoffs yesterday afternoon. My daily go to is 555 but for some unearthly reason, I grabbed a bottle of French Toast and barely looking, refilled my Ody while still watching the game.
Well 555 and French Toast taste like what I figure horse apples would - Pure crap. I took off the top, emptied the juice into the sink. My wife had just gotten a glass of water from the Purolator filter so I grabbed it and made back to the den.
Getting back in my perch, I disassembled the Ody and dropped the pieces into the glass of water. Listening to my wife tell me she hoped I choked on the glass of water, I thought nothing more of it until I got up today.
Have you ever seen those plastic lemons or limes they sell in grocery stores? The ones with the concentrated extracts in them. So when I took my parts out of the glass of water, I noticed the connector pin was black, literally. After spazzing out my wife heard my upset and I showed her what her glass of "water" had done to my Ody connector pin.
That's when she told me the reason for saying she hoped I choked on it... The water had a large percentage of lemon juice extract. The black came right off the connector pin of course but so did the nickle plating. It is a nice shade of gold now...
So I get the dunce award of the week for the Ody. And just in case you guys don't know (I'm sure most intelligent people do), make sure you don't wash or soak any of the very few parts of any GG that is nickle plated brass with anything even mildly or naturally acidic. And yes, that includes lemon juice!![]()
My Odysseus has arrived!!!
My 1st coil bulit with the supplied wire is 2.9ohm. The vapour is really woot. Awsome.
As for the taste.. Umm... even after burning + soaking in IPA, still do have the soapy taste but I can live with that.
Built is 100% solid. From the weight of it can already tell it's built to last (Other than the wear and tear parts)
Building and usage, the videos really helps. My 1st time building a coil but everything went smoothly with not much wastage. Will definately improve more on my coil buliding. The juice control is really brilliant. Totally no burnt taste with chain vaping or any leakage issues.
Thanks Imeo for this creation. Fantastic device which I will sure keep with me always. Regretting not buying a 2nd one. Will be staying tune here for the next batch release and also for the upgrade parts.
Anyone know if the xs116 wick fits ok in the ody? Its my favorite fiber wick and IMO safer than the ceramic wick.
lol....nextel xs116 IS ceramic......
