Maybe it would be dificult to sell Ody in parts. The reason is that some parts that are needed for a purpose, they are also needed for another purpose too. So at the end, I will stuck with pieces that noone will buy because they will not work without the parts that are already sold

Of course I can sell for more money the parts that people want so even if I stuck with unessesary parts, I will still not lose any money.

Remember that these parts are so cheap that I will not make any money. I can affort this but I cant affort to lose money too

I'm all for getting it all at once (rather than spending time and energy worrying about a couple of parts I might not use) and 60 Euros for the Upgrade is CHEAP.

asche, not very happy about the attitude here? imeo just explained, reasonably and humbly, why he can't sell it in parts. unless your 'suggestion' was an imperative, then it's hard to comprehend any hurt feelings over that.

I agree with you that it would be nice not to have to buy anything that you won't use. And I'm in the same boat. I'm unlikely to use it with cartos, atties, or UFS. But it is an expansion for an existing piece. Like buying software... as a common example, sometimes you don't want all of the programs (image editing, extended usability, etc.) that come with the printer software. It comes as part of the package, though, so you get the printer - the thing you do plan to use the hell out of - anyway, and skip the other installs. And they're there if you ever want them.

I here what you're saying, it does seem a waste to have to buy parts you know you won't use just to get the 3 parts needed for big mode, a better way would be to sell the upgrades in stages, so a long mode upgrade, UFS mode upgrade, atty modes etc. I'm almost in the same boat I definitely will not be using a chinese atty ever again, I only need the parts for big mode and UFS mode.

asch please dont get disapointed, people here are very nice and very helpful. I would like to see you very often here and be sure that even if you had a bad start, things will go very well soon. As for the pieces you said and as critter said, you buy the whole package because its a package. The reason I sold only the short mode in first place was only because I was in a hurry for Christmas. I wouldnt do it for any other reason. Ody is not a rebuildable atomizer only. Ody is Ody and it has to be sold as Ody.

I agree vp but if you dont see it as a package then you will have to pay more for less things. Be sure that I would like to sell it separate and charge more. But 60 euros is a gift from me to my customers. If I would sell it in pieces, I could easily charge 40-50 euros for only 1-2 modes if you agree

I understand completely where you're coming from Imeo and I appreciate the way you kept the price down so much, you intended to originally release the Ody as 1 package containing all parts but due to the demand you released it in small mode while you were waiting for the other parts so us vapers could get our mitts on them which I'm extremely grateful for

For instance, I only go through 1-2 ml a day (at most) in my UFS. So I use the "short version". Hence, the piece that makes it taller is "gathering dust" and the stainless steel window is as well (since I use the window). But Imeo is right, selling it as a package is more cost effective and also satisfies a greater amount of people.

You're both right, but I think Imeo always wins in the end

I think you misunderstood me, Imeo. I have no problem with having the extra pieces. I just understand what that guy said when he mentions some pieces collect dust. I wanted to support him, but I also support you and I think what you decide to do is what is best.

First of all thanks a lot for offering the update set and especially the GGTS Base for a incredible cheap price!

I think there is a quite simple solution - just sell the update packages as intended now. Later on when you produce more Odysseus (which I hope you do) you can some packages like (GGTS or Stealth) Odysseus (Big Mode/Small Mode/China Mode).
Sounds like a lot of effort though...
Or you just assume that most people want the Big Mode and produce a lot of spares (Odysseus Core, the various tank parts, mouthpieces) and sell them individually. But that would lead to troubles as some people are missing a part and won't buy the others...

The only thing that I am still not clear on is if the new ODY base for GGs is a part of the upgrade package or if it will be offered individually.

With the recent upswing in Stealth availability, and the simultaneous decline in GGTS's and GGTS part availability, it would make sense for the Ody Base for GG to be separate. Right now Ody can be used on any 510 battery, and there are many of us who (might love to but) can't expand our stealths to full GGTS because the parts just aren't available.

I'd looooove to use it with that base - but until I can get my hands on a top tube and connector/control tank, its a no-go.

My understanding based on a listed seperate price on the how much money do I need thread is they will be seperate.

As for the package I am happy it all comes in 1 package so there will be no waiting on individual pieces. Either I get the package or I don't. I can tell you I will never use the e2 serup and probably won't use the china atty serup but I am ok with that. I look at it this way. If Imeo had just made a small rebuildable atomizer that would fit in the UFS total cost would have been much more then the roughly 200 price tag of the full ody. (I know it is a bit cheaper but it is an easy number to use). You would have had to spend 150ish on a UFS and then another 80-100 on the rebuildable atomizer. Total cost is over 230 now we are getting a single device sold as a package that is rebuildable or you can still use store bought stuff for under 200 that is a deal to me.

Again these are just my thoughts.

And I finally just received my Ody from Daniel at GRBC.co after a long day of stalking the mailman. My wife kept telling me to sit down, that I would probably just get it tomorrow but I would say "No! It will get here soon" and it did. Just finished building my first coil, a 3.0 ohm to fit on my 6v GGTB. Wow does this thing make a lot of vapor! My head is spinning now, maybe I will have to reduce the nic content of my juices again?!?!
