Now I've tried out all modes, and they all work. But, to be true, I don't really see a point to spend 200+ $$ to run a 510 or a CE2 or whatever in an Ody. There are so many tank systems (Arry, Map, DCT) and bottom feeders (Reo) out there that work mostly even better with all the chinese attys than with the Ody. And for all the 510s the UFS.
The Ody is one of the best self-build systems, but the other modes are (to me) pretty useless.
Just my opinion.

harekira, the Ody was obviously designed as a great rebuildable atty, the fact that it can do more than just that surely is a plus.

CaptSteve: I know that, it is just my opinion on the other modes, nothing more. I don't own 3 Odys just for fun *g*.
I think it would be useful if there would be an option to buy just the expansion for the BigMode (or the Big Mode as standalone, if Imeo is going to produce it again).
I bet that all the other parts will just lay around in a box and collect dust (not only in one of my boxes...).
A lot of german users sell their Upgrade Kit in the forums (of course without the Big Mode parts).

While sure, there are other tank systems, there are only a smallll handful of ATOMIZER tanks out there. The only ones that come to mind right now are the AFS, AVS, UFS, and Odysseus 510 mode. Oh wait! They're all made my Imeo and all retain and improve upon the features included in previous models! When you purchase an Ody+expansion, not only do you get an AMAZING rebuildable atomizer (with 3 unique tank sizes AND dripping mode), but you get the ability to run both a 510 atomizer tank with adjustable draw and juice flow that holds 6mls of juice AND a rebuildable dripping atomizer! One that happens to be bar none the BEST dripping atomizer (or atomizer in general really) in the game.

Fully agree Rick, but I do see harekira's point. The ability to be able to choose what someone wants would be good. I suspect however in future items may be sold individually.

if you can have one device to rule all the kind of atomizers its something we all wanted hare. And I dont think that other simple devices work better than Ody, maybe the opossite. Having liquid control is much better than having no control with the other devices. So its impossible for other devices to work better than Ody

Don't get me wrong Imeo, I LOVE GG, that's why I have so many Odys and GGTSs (plus Stealth, plus UFS2, plus Iatty), but for using any 510 / 306 atty, I do prefer a Reo (which also costs $150) even to the UFS2.
Each device has its strength and also its weaknesses, and imho using an Ody for running a CE2 or a 510 comes near a sacrilege (not only moneywise). Who buys a Ferrari and then rides a bicycle?
Dripping mode is fine as well, but only if you are a dripper.

I kinda agree but for a different reason. It is more out of hope that in the future each individual mode will be able to be bought seperatly with each additional part available on it's own. I say this since the UFS is no longer in production I am hoping people who want a 510 tank will be able to buy just Ody in 510 mode or people who want large rebuildable mode will be able to do the same. I know a couple GG owners that will never want to make their own coils. I also hope a new 510 mode mouthpiece that will accomodate cartos will be made for people who really like cartos.

The Ferrari bicycle metaphor is just an insult to Imeo, especially when you're using the Reo as your frame of reference (nothing against the Rio, it's no Ody). I cant speak for CE2 mode, but have you even tried 510 mode? It works better than the ufs (which isn't a ....jng bicycle) and has a vastly improved juice control system! Ody ftw.

Naturally I have tried the 510 mode, that's why I have MY opinion. Few posts earlier I wrote that i've tried out ALL modes.
I also use the XL 510 in a UFS2, but for my taste (!) I get more out of a 510 or 306 on a Reo (I have Woodvil, Grand and Mini). If people chose to use a 5 buck atty in a 200$ device, that's fine with me, but I stick to the self-buildable attys on the Odys.
I vape now for over 2 years and there is not one company I praise higher than GG, but there also has to be room for critical and constructive comments, don't you think?

hare, I agree that you dont buy a ferrari to make walks only on your neighborhood. But if you remember the price, you are a little wrong here. All the update parts came at ONLY 60 euros!. So its a ferrari at the cost of a yugo:). So Ody is not only the atomizer with all options that a user needs and maybe more but the cheapest at the same time if you agree.

Imeo, I have 3 Odys ... just to have the BigMode (which is the only mode I intend to use), I have to pay 180 Euros just to have a larger tank on all three - and THAT is a sum, with which I can buy another GGTS easily or something else.

Add: I know many people in Germany who have more than one Ody, but all only bought one Upgrade-Kit, because they think just like me. Maybe the Germans are more into the "self-building" stuff than others, but all I know, who own an Ody, only use the self-build coil.

@Gredie: do you know of any plans, that those parts will be available any time in the near future -
I don't ... Imeo ?
The availability of GG parts is not that good, just check the European websites: e-smokeguru, E-Cigz London, Bitfumo Italy and GG France.
I am waiting for a replacement Tube (where the fire button is) for one of my GGTS (which has a scratch) for over 9 months now, it is listed everywhere, but wasn't available anywhere - as most parts.

you should really try bottom feeding using dripping mode on the reo...beats bottom feeding on any 510/306 by far imo.
