That´s what I believe. But it´s hard to wait for the copies. It´s lasting so long. And the results of this process ... the simplifications of Imeos complex and elaborated constructions will be ... staggering. Even to Imeo. I simply can´t get rid of my dream to see him managing it (mass production!) himself.

(My german companion on board told me the same as some did before. Just the German way. Simple, without dispensable humour but adding resulting assignment of behaviour. Thanks for that. )

:)

This subject is like beating a dead horse. Asked and answered many times. If a person feels they can't get one when they go up new for sale, then haunt the classifieds on this forum and others. I recently bought a GGTS from classies.

If one wants a copy right away - go buy a Galileo, quite a similar copy. Best to check forum threads on it as people have trouble with it firing. It's a copy IMO, but can't stand next to a GGTS.

I'm glad the GG line is not mass produced. Would be like buying one of 100,000 car brand. Cross your fingers and hope there is nothing wrong with it. Then worry about recalls, etc, etc.

How often do you change wire? I feel that just after two days of vaping, I need a wire exchange due to carbon residue on it. Then it does not perform as expected, probably because it is running too cool due to the carbon. I could clean it, but to be successful, I need to remove wick/wire from base, and then it is just as easy to change it. What are your thoughts on this?

I se to change my coil every 4-5 days. Sometimes because they pop if I dry burn at 7.4 v sometimes because I want to try to build a better coil. I have gotten 7 days out of one coil then my expansion came in and I replaced since I assembled in big mode. I dry burn every fill. Dry burning at the same voltage I am using (6v) doesn't get it as clean as at 7.4 but has also
Never popped a coil.

I hope you don't mean me. I would really not be amused to called a companion to you. I found your posts in your german forum. And I don't say the same as you did, honey. If you mean someone else....ok....than this post was only preventive

I find flavor and vapor production is much better after a dry burn session. My juices gunk my coil up really bad.

I tend to vape only clearer juices, so thats probably where we differ. I figure that if I'm gna be rebuilding my coil once a week, give or take, I'd rather just make a new one rather than fiddling with my current setup

rwechsler, I don't dry burn. Mine last me 7-8 days now. When it gets dirty I trash it and put a new one in. I saved and cleaned mine for awhile, just to see how long I could make it last if I had too, then I costed how much each coil with new Nextel costs me to make... that's when I started just throwing them away. My cost is now somewhere in the neighborhood of $.30 a coil ;)

That's actually a figure I came up with from an original ebay wire purchase (100'), .999 pure silver NR wire (217'), also from fleabay, and nextel 312 ($1.50 a foot) I've since purchased a half pound of resistance wire, at an unbeatable price, so now it's even cheaper. (I haven't bothered to figure it out, too much work for something already so cheap, plus I'm not sure how many thousands of feet of resistance wire I have)

The nextel is controversial, and requires special handling before you can vape on it, there are several threads on here with a ton of information if you do a search. Including some folks who report sore throats after using it. There is tons of data online, and lots of posts in the GG forum with full on debates regarding it's health/safety concerns. No sense in beating a horse again. :) or starting a debate. But it isn't a plug and play certified safe product, it's an heat shielding developed for NASA and the aerospace industry. It's a definite use at your own risk product, and an advanced user, as it will require some fine tuning of your setup to run like a clock :)

Hey everybody.....

I haven't been able to read the forums here for a few weeks due to a family situation.

I'm going to be listing (some of) my GG stuff on the classy's unless there are family members that want to buy them. I know there were several "regulars" that missed out on stuff. I'll be selling for my cost, plus of course PP fees and shipping. I had stated earlier that I didn't believe in jacking prices because of supply and demand. Of course I know that is how the world rolls but even though I really need the money, that's not how I roll. Nuff said on that. We beat that horse deader than dead.

If possible, maybe those folks that missed out will be in a position to get what they have been looking for. Just seems right to me to let them have first whack at the sales. Everyone here knows who missed out first on what so as a family let's do the right thing here.

I'll be selling a complete Ody, an iAtty, a UFS, a SS Stealth and a Brass Stealth. Most have spare parts and I'll be selling them as units. In other words, I won't sell the spare parts by themselves. Everything is in excellent condition. Possibly very minor scratches on the end caps from sitting on my desk but they can be buffed/polished out. There are no deep scratches and nothing was ever dropped.

The situation here dictates that I make this move. I am keeping my SSGGTS, a UFS, and the review Ody I got from Imeo. If the situation further dictates, I may have to sell my SSGGTS and UFS but the Ody will have to be returned to Bruce.

I'll post what comes with what probably tomorrow or Thursday.

PS, I have @24' of kiln prepped XC-116. It was done exactly to the specs given. That will have to go as well but ONLY to a CONUS addy.

Thanks all,

Chris aka Repent

I truly hate to hear Chris. :( As others have said and I can attest to from personal experience, life will seemingly allow you to cruise along and out of nowhere comes a kick to the cajones. No humor intended with that remark as I frankly am just thankful each day I wake up and consider it a gift of bonus time.

You will be in my prayers my friend. If there is ever anything I have that you need, for God's sake, don't be bashful. If I have and you need it, it's yours. I hear reports of this one and that of being listed as "day to day" but in the factual analysis, we are all day to day. It's how we handle the days we are granted that marks us.
