Epic Journey
Someone help me ease the pain, how is two weeks harder than the 8 months before it!

Previous 8 months were just a dream. These two weeks are a reality. That changes everything! :)

Here is what dspin and Major would be doing for the next two weeks, LOL!

Here's a question that's a little off the current topic, maybe someone can shed some light on.

I've been having leaking with my Ody in large mode.
After numerous tank fulls and careful examination, I believe my original knurled ring (that goes over the wick and wire) was just a smidge crooked. Literally. No matter how I put it on, there was just a hair difference on one side that kept it from being flush.
Also, the small knurled ring that goes on the bottom of the center post would come loose and the center post would come out.

I have replaced with new:
the small knurled ring, the ceramic, the metal part that hold the ceramic in, the center post, the small knurled ring at the bottom of the center post, and that o-ring. (not the ceramic housing, but the rest of those small parts.)

I believe I have everything tight when I put it all together, but I'm still getting some leaks in large mode.
Yesterday, after watching more videos, I had filled it as full as possible and no leaks for quite some time.
Until the liquid got down some.
So....

I took the tank part off and that little knurled ring at the bottom of the center post had worked loose again.

Not touching it after it's filled, except loosening the juice control a couple of turns, why would this ring work loose?
I screw it on until my fingers hurt, and it's just sitting there, but what could cause this and how do I fix it?

It may not be the end solution to my leaks, but I'm thinking it may go far in fixing them.
Any ideas on this?
