Recently I’ve been getting some leaking between the Odysseus cap and the tank tube. Not a lot of fluid but If I touch the seam between the two parts liquids starts to seep out. Also it seems the O-ring is too small on the tube. When I screw the cap on it screws all the way down and doesn’t seem to catch the O-ring like it does when I connect the tube to the base connector. It almost seems like the groove for the O-ring was cut a little too deep or something. I’m also seeing similar seeping on my Penelope between the top cap the tube. Is there a solution for this? Can I put a bigger O-ring on to make a better seal? Any suggestions or similar problems from more experienced users out there? Thanks for the help guys.

Well, that came to me second Odysseus.
Cameron has sent all but the wires.
I really wanted to try to solder the wires from the Imeo.
At least to know for himself whether or not to order them ... but evidently not destiny.
But there is an opportunity to experience a new wick.
Oh, will the old-fashioned twist NR and R wires

Thank you brother roxxette.
I'm doing myself a year coils.
For me there is no problem to make a coil to fit your tastes and needs.
Happy vaping:toast::evil:

dont be stingy with your juice... lol...... give two huge turn on the mouthpiece... and your burning taste will gone... :)
i did try that, i just didnt have it wrapped well, i did get a really good one done yesterday morning and been vaping it ever since. just takes a little to get the technique down.
also i had tried what you said, thought i could just counteract it, but the one spot was glowing and the rest was working just ok, and even opening up the mouthpiece would bring in enough juice, lol
its alright though i got it going good now!

Its impossible for Penelope to have an issue like this billy. As for the Ody, please put a bigger o-ring around the neck of the body. The existing one is 16x1,5, so try a 17x1,5 or 18x1,5:)

penelope works without this o-ring too my dear. Just screw the rebuildable part until you see that the center pole is 0,5 out of the 510 threads and then screw the big ring as hard as you can.:)
Billy today i was cleaning penelope and broke the oring of the base :) dont ask me how but anyway i found a oring and im pretty sure it was a bigger one, lubed it up and it seals real good so i guess you can do the same and see how it works.

Thanks for the reply. I'll try a bigger o-ring on Odysseus. Also, next time the Penelope seeps I'll post a picture for you so you know what I mean.

I will wait for the picture buddy. I just find impossible for Penelope to leak from top cap. The reason is that o-ring sits on the neck of the tube and o-ring is pushed between body and cap. I cant make my Penelope leak from her cap in any possible way. But your picture will show me what you mean of course:)

I know what you mean because I experienced that a few times a while back. But I discovered that it's actually not leaking and the "fix" is really simple... Here's what I mean...

I noticed that I never got any leaking when all the parts were clean, usually right after I installed a new coil. The leaking between the top cap and the body would only start after a few refills. You will notice that some liquids collects and attaches to the top of the inside of the top cap. While adding more liquid during a refill, I used to place the top cap on the counter and naturally some liquid would make its way down the threads of the top cap which would eventually seep out as more accumulated after a couple of refills.

I started giving the top cap a quick rinse during every or every other refill as well as wiping the threads on top of the main body. The problem disappeared permanently. I would suggest trying this first before changing any o-rings. Let us know how it works out. Good luck!

Okay guys, I tried searching for this in the thread but it's hard to word it to find exactly what I want. Whenever I make a coil for my oddy v2, I make 7 wraps of Kanthal 32g, using 30g silver as non-res wire, and every time I measure it's resistance, it is too low for the provari to work with. I like my coils at 2.7-3.3ish so I use a lot of Kanthal for that reason, so it seems strange it comes out so low.

Any tips? I think it might be how I wrap the resistance and non resistance wire. I pretty much do it exactly as advise, make a small V with the wire, then twist them together, then wrap the non res wire over it. But something must be wrong on my part.

That setup definitely shouldn't be too low for the Provari. Are you getting the LO error code? If so, try screwing into the base more so the center pin sticks out a hair to make a better connection with the Provari. I was getting that error until I did that.

I used to get it to atleast be able to measure the ohms on the coil back when I had a oddy drip mode. A meter of wick later I have only been able to make 1 coil, that resulted in a funky taste, so I disassembled it and boiled and torched the ceramic. I guess I'm just going to have to work with Kanthal 36g. The only reason I like wrapping more coils is more surface area. But I am just going to suck it up and get 36g. Thanks for the help!

I am sticking out about 1mm. And I am getting LO when I read the ohms, and it's giving me E1 when I try to fire it.
