I use the premades at the moment so this should be ok and i torch them everytime, when i don't use premades i use kanthal and silver so maybe its the nickel from imeos premades (he uses nickel right?) cause i have this problem only since i use these i think, i will try my normal setup then. Thanks, haven't thought of the metal from the wires i also wrapped them pretty tight after reading that this can be an issue too

Just make sure you're not choking it. You're looking for a nice snug to the point that you cannot remove the wick by sliding it out. But not squeezing it.

its not the premade wires for sure Ax. To my opinion, make at least 4 turns of R wire around wick and make it tight. Thats what I do and I am always ok. Maybe you can try to use a needle while coiling

So I also received an Odysseus. I believe it's a V2... A close friend has stated that it is prone to leaking. Has their been a fix to it to prevent said leaking? Been focusing on the Penelope currently may do some deeper reading over my days off work.

Ody doesnt leak at all DH. Your friend has the wrong expression. Ody leaks only if you open the liquid control so much that you overflood it

Oh yeah and Ana has it on a Saber Touch with 510 thread connection, not the GGTS with collector tank, and no leaks.

Its true, it only sweats a tiny bit when juice gets real low and it starts to condense in the tank as it gets to the last drops. The vapour condenses in the tank and finds its way out, so its not really juice leaking its the vapour sneaking out, cause the the clouds are so large.

I found that when you refill it if you take the entire top off- with mouthpiece (the lazy man's way), refill and put the top back as one piece it will leak initially. If you leave the mouthpiece in but in the 'off' position, fill it, then put the top piece on, then the top screw - NO leaks...

thats exactly the right prossedure kc. Small cap after the big cap.

This is happening because small cap press a little the air inside the main body and big cap press it a lot.

Just built it finally. 1.2 ohm and hits great so far no leaks. I am not sure what my friends issue was with his but he ultimately sold his because of the issue. So far no leaks.

Maybe he was putting negative wire under the big ring that keeps rebuildable part in place DH. And maybe you put wire under the wick on the metal channel?

Do you run 3.5mm wick down the channels?

You can but it's a little tight. If you find it too tight, you can remove one strand.

I ran 3.5 in the channels with a strand removed. I set mine up just like I did my Penelope Imeo..

Hi, I just got an Odysseus and I accidentally cracked the ceramic inside the ceramic housing and it got stuck.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to get it out?

You need to remove the little top nut and center pin before you attempt to remove the ceramic.

Yep, remove that nut inside the ceramic and you shouldn't have much trouble getting the rest out
