I just wanted to let you all know that a fellow ECF member / GG owner named "borncrosseyed" came through for me. He was so nice to answer my "wanted" ad. I just got 3 V2 center pins, and a couple of nuts. I am so grateful to him to give up these parts to come to my rescue.

thank you all for the advice and suggestions. I do want a couple more just to have, because my "clumsy" hands also tend to drop little bits and lose them.

If anyone needs some V1 center posts I have 4 extras. And if anyone needs 3mm x 2mm o-rings, I ended up with 200 of them

Found a home for the V1 center pins. Im glad I could help someone else find what they were needing.

I went over to E-Smoke Guru and I think the price of the center pin is way off. It sells there for 18.00 Euros= 24.00 USD, which is double what its been for the last few months. I just wanted to make sure before I buy. COV is 10.17 but they only sell the V1 center pin.

v2 pin is SS when the V1 is brass nickel plated my dear ana. SS always costs double than brass.

I just bought V2 pins from a GG user and he sold them to me for the price he paid last preorder, he paid 10.17 for them. He even showed me the invoice.
Im shocked at the price jump of a 100% in a few months. For a few dollars more you can get the much heavier stainless steel tank for an Ody or Ithaka. Oh well, I guess its no pins for me unless mine break

The price was maybe wrong my dear. I make mistakes like this when I improve an item and I leave price the same. And be sure that I only improve all the time

Also, I reduce the price of other parts when I raise the price on one part, so the total price of the parts is always equal to the whole construction.

thanks for the explanation, but I guess if I were buying parts for the whole Ody, that would be fine, but I only need those and a couple of other nuts and such. I will wait for the pre-orders for Ody parts you mentioned you would produce soon.

Please Imeo could you help, my friend has an odysseus v2,full mode, he keeps making me jealous, & teasing me because it is such a great atty & the vape is amazing.
I have tried for months advertising on the UK forums & they all sell for well over RRP.
I have pre ordered the Ithaka from esmoke guru, which iam sure i will love.
I just would like to add an Odysseus, as eventually hope to get all the attys.
I have tried all your suppliers to try & build one from parts it is impossible because of very little stock.
I refuse to buy the nautilus / terminator out of respect for you & think it is wrong that someone should copy your design.
I understand you must get requests like this all the time & is difficult for you.
I joined ECF because of your forum & the wealth of information it gives,
Please if you could help in anyway it would be greatly appreciated.

There are rumours that Imeo will be releasing most of his products again , at least one more time. Im hoping for others that Odysseus will be one of those. He did say he will have a pre-order in the next few months of all replacement parts for all items , again Im hoping Odysseus will be included.

My first Odysseus I bought used for double what is sold when it was available. My second one I just bought the parts when Imeo had the last pre-orders for Ody replacement parts. I had to order from COV and E-smoke guru as it seemed there was one or two parts on each site that the other didnt have. Maybe to discourage people from building their own, just a guess. Between those parts and finding parts in the classifieds, I ended up with a second Ody. It cost close to retail, but now with some of the parts prices going way up it might cost you a little more than retail.

Since then I have been collecting certain parts that might wear to have in case the Ody parts dont come back for sale. I love my Odysseus, for me its just perfect. Ithaka is Odys replacement, and its an amazing item, but for my needs a bit too advanced with features that are not needed for me.

I wish you luck, the prices for Odysseus are going down lately in the classifieds due to the Ithaka and have seen a few at retail to a bit over retail. Keep your eye out. There are a couple right now with many extras and in great , almost new condition.

just a quick question guys, how would you tell the difference between a real ody and a clone? planning on making a trade soon and just curious

first tale tell sign is the top cap ring, the fakes are usually rounder and only have 2 notches. Second if you look at the bottom where the base blends in to the 510 connection, on the fakes you can see that it is joined pieces and not one solid piece. TO make sure ask them for a close up photo of the top cap and one of the bottom, if they are large enough post it here or PM us or Imeo and we can check it out.

Also, a big sign is the finish, fakes are usually brushed and Odys are mirror finished, but that doesn't mean that someone has not custom finished their Ody or polished up a fake.

Careful of this one, though. My Ody is genuine (bought from CoV in the first sale) and has only two notches on the small top cap, the 4 notches was a later change. I'm sure there's a distinct visible difference on that part, but if I hadn't already seen the real deal I'd be hard-pressed to spot a clone.

One way that might be effective is to post a pic here in the GG forum asking for opinions and the regular GG users will likely be able to tell the difference

Yup V1 had 2 notches V2 had 4.

Okay, not be contradictory, but these are 2 of my older V2 odysseus pins, I can see that either they are rusting or they are also brass with plating and not solid stainless steel. Im a bit disturbed as these are supposed to be the more expensive solid stainless steel. ?

Stainless steel will rust. Just not as easily.
