3.0ohm...this first batch..

lol... I usually use 2.0ohm and didn't even notice ;) My Darwin did the math for me and I'm still in my happy place without even moving the dial. Gotta love that!

Went to fill today and was worried about how different it might be. I had Lava's that I popped the top off to fill and been using Phiniac which fill through the bottom with one of those luer lock thingamajigs. I remembered a vaper gave me one of those slap yo' mama doo-hickeys - made filling a breeze used my luer lock bottle too ;) Won't have to fill again till tommorow. Carefree vaping, when I think back to straw/blue foam mods to where we've evolved to now - GREAT time to be a vaper!!

I must say using this tank I can't help but notice how damn nice the glass is done. The top has this curved edge to it...not like just a piece of cut glass - it's really sleek. The bottom if flatter and frosted so I can tell top from bottom really easily. It looks slimmer on my Darwin too than my Phiniac tank and I think it's kinda classy I must say ROFL!!

Love it JJ! Hope you had a great party today too.

I remember those days, and also the Tea Bags. The Blue Foam was our mini jc filling tanks at the time, held the jc longer then most. Wow, you are right, look how far we have come. For the new people that are coming in to vaping today they are lucky with VV Device, Watts driven devices(Darwin), Tanks and improved Carts and Atty. They have come in during the transformation of the E-cig and its innovation.

I got my Clean Tank Duo, and I do love it. Here's a pic.

IMG_3542.jpg

The actual vape is very clean, it's like coming straight from a cartomizer instead of a tank. Compared to my Phiniac, it's quieter and I get a very clean tasty hit instead of a big harsh hit.

My only problem with it is refilling. Popping the cap off produces a spray of juice, and popping it back on causes pressure to flood the cart every time. Other than that it's pretty nifty. Hopefully that inner o-ring holds, I'm kind of afraid to turn it upside down for fear of leaking into the carto.

I only have the one piece Clean Tank so far but I learned this from Lava(s) - when you replace the cap (after refilling) try pressing the topcap just enough to seat the O-ring against the tube and then tilt it so the air bubble is over one of the carto holes. Then press the topcap the rest of the way into place while holding it so the airbubble stays over one of the carto holes. This seems to prevent flooding the carto.

Hope this helps. :toast:

I hate to say it but I may end up having to sell my duo. It's nice and looks great, and generally works well, but I've had tons of problems filling it and with flooding. I have a Phiniac, Phiniac Tallboy, Big Daddy, Mini Sub, Smok DCT and have never had a flood until now. =(

I'll buy it, what do you want for it?

Now hold on there, killer.

Not sure yet. ;)

Have you tried another carto? Sometimes those things fail. I had a box of 5 SR boge every single one flooded constantly. The last one I tried only punching 1 hole and it still flooded. Opened a new box haven't had a single problem since. Don't give up on it yet. But if you do shoot me a pm.

i had a little bid of carto flooding when i filled my tank once. I took the juice out of the tank. blew on the carto, refilled, and then i tip the tank upside down when the top has just been put on to the o rings. you want to align the bubble of the juice around one of the carto holes before you push the top all of the way on. re-blow at the end of the carto and you should be good to go

Could be an o-ring issue as well...when we get our next batch of materials I am going to send off a set of different sized o-rings for everyone that has gotten a tank from avidvaper.com

What strout mentioned would help as well.

I will do what I can to make it right!

Hi JJ
I have one (ming) with the O-ring on the bottom to small just doesn't hold on to the carto and same tank the outer top o-ring is way to tight. All most have to use a pipe wrench on it to get it on or off. LOL I am just going to down to the hardware store and get some other o-rings to try. Now for the other tank I have (pawn) it work perfect! Top is easy on and off. Holds on the carto (no slipping) and vapes like a train.

Now, with my duo, my small inner o-ring is too small. Won't stay in, wont' hold a carto.
Temp fix with another tank's o-ring.
My top outer o-ring doesn't seem to fit right either, and the small inner top one just seems to roll around some.

Growing pains JJ.
They'll get worked out.
I would appreciate some different o-rings when you get some in, please and thanks!
