After you read that post, and then re-read this one, tell me who is the "troll". If you're really interested to see WHO's been getting slammed here, then find some of my other recent posts and read those, too.
Gone a few days and I see my thread full of life...
neat!
Hope everyone is doing well and what not, super busy with my real job, getting materials in order for the next batch, hopefully have some for Florida's vapevest/bash/stock/thingy....
Good Evening All!
I'm loving the looks of my duo tank, but I do have a question or two for use.
-Top o-ring seems to slip up every time ending in half of the oring being in the seal, the other half bulging out of the top...
-bottom oring holds my carts like a vice grip. Slash only specific drip tips can be used to install a cart... and I broke my last tip this morning :/. I'm glad it doesn't slide around or leak or anything, but holy crap. I've had to change it twice (cart issue, not tank issue) and it's been about a 10 minute power struggle each time.
- flooding/ vacuum- when I put the cap on, it floods. seeing as though not everyone is having this issue, it sounds like its something I'm doing, but I have the air bubble over all of my holes, and am half filling the tank just so I can make sure I have plenty of air around the holes. As for the vacuum. I can take the top on and off if I have a full tank, but if the tank has been vaped on and its empty, it hurts my fingers to take the cap off, and usually requires me to wrap the tip in a towel and the tank in a silicon kitchen gripper.
Anyone else running into any of these things? Any advice on how I might be able to modify what I'm doing to make the tank easier to use?
Only other advice I have- since 3/4's of my drip tips won't let the cart slide up the bottom oring- including a specific drip tip, or recommending one would be awesome.
First off - I don't have one of these fine looking tanks. What I'm going to say is from experience with other tanks.
I had one tank that just flooded. Tried different carto's, smaller holes in the carto, 1/2 fill the tank, make sure air bubble was over carto hole. Tried it all and the tank just flooded. I could watch the juice level go down. I gave it 1 more try before tossing it and noticed 'tiny, tiny' little air bubbles at one end of the tank just under the cap after taking a vape.
I replaced the o-ring and the tank worked fine. I can only assume the o-ring was damaged or whatever and there was a micro air leak causing a pressure problem in the tank and forcing the juice out.
Between your post about orings, and the post below mentioning carto punching, maybe it's time to fix my carto technique. I've been running three hole in these. I'll give two hole and one hole a try and see how that works out while I'm waiting on orings. Thanks for the advice!
