Any update on the replacement o-rings?

I'm glad I found this thread. Because I tried to contact JJ through email, FaceBook and I put a ticket in with Avid all about orings and no one got back to me. At least, now I know that I'm not the only one waiting for them. It sucks that I have an $80 tank I can't use because if orings.

I know what you mean K Rose. Wow Its been since June and no update. K Rose keep contacting Avid, I sure they will be able to help.

I did contact Avid and they said to send the tank in for replacement Orings. Avid informed that they can't get ahold of JJ either. So far, I contacted him through Facebook, PM's here and his email. I've heard nothing. He has been around too, because he has posted pictures of his setups on FB.

I finally got sick of the bad o-ring fit, and found some that fit really well (better than what ships in the parva tanks).

I tried a slew of different sizes at work (we have huge bins of various o-rings for past product prototypes) to ensure that these were the best fit possible. The other advantage is that both top and bottom rings are the same size now, making for easier replacements.

If anyone is interested, they are a non ASME standard size on applerubber.com, size 0.347 x 0.059, 70 durometer Buna-N.
