just curious, im assuming you are having a problem with the custom? have you been in contact with hanna? he seems very easy to work with and has always answered any questions and concerns ive had.

I was just not impressed with how it hit on my 14500 box mod. It hit the same as a SR 510 atty. There was good taste, but not much TH or vapor. I used it on my 650mah eGo and it was a little better but still not warm at all. Very cool vape. I have grown accustomed to how the Cisco 1.5 LR306 is.... It is consistent on both devices. Very warm, good TH, and clouds of vapor.... I did put it on a meter and it is showing 1.5ohm but hits nothing anywhere near any other 1.5ohm 510 that I have. I used it from Tuesday to Saturday and gave up as it just felt so dissatisfying.... I know I have read that some people have had longer break in periods but I saw no difference in the 5 days I was using it at all. I will send an email to Hanna to see what I can do.... I set it up exactly the way he has it on Avid's site and in the video.... I'm at a loss for now!!!

well, i think i just fried my 1.5 357. using it on my reo and i flooded it a bit so took that opportunity to blow it out as i hadnt yet today. put it back on and gave the bottle a squeeze but obviously didnt get enough juice in the chamber, hit it and yuck!!! so i gave another squeeze and made sure i had juice, hit the button and absolutely nothing, im feeling sick right now.

i have a long barrel i just got. right now im thinking the short barrel is better for me heat wise. i keep 2 reos going with different flavors the one that fried was the one i used with my all day everyday juice, the other im experimenting with a chocolate cake batter flavor so if i switch out it will for sure need cleaned up,lol. ill grab another 357 but it wont be til the first of the month.. thats one bad thing about working for the state getting paid monthly.

Same issue but i have mailed 5 items back to vendors this week.. The post office is costing me to much money... Its staying on my Reo's/Grip it does hit nice tho..
Just got my 1st HH357 last week and it's already got to go back to Hanna to get fixed. It's leaking horribly. Juice literally falls right through. Love the way it hits though. Just want to be able to use it on a constant basis.

I like the short barrels better too. The long barrels had a tendency to occasionally overfeed in my REOS and they are more difficult to clean. I didn't find that hit all that differently. I got a Cherry Vape universal drip tip to deal with any spitting if things get too hot on the short ones. Not sure if mine ever do spit because I am quite fond of the Universal as a tip all on it's own, so it's no longer an issue.

I heard some of the concerns with the coils being too close together so I am now hand spacing every winding farther apart, i like the way they perform like this. Here are some pics:

I get the same exact thing; my Reo Mini will not take the new HH357 1.5 Ohm LB past a few hits on a fresh 14500 without feeling like it's just not getting any voltage; I've tried changing batts. It works pretty great on the eGo though. I put it on my Provari at 3.4v for best flavor.
And it meters 1.5 too.
That seems strange, since I know I'm getting some voltage from the Reo... haven't metered the Reo.
I've had it about 4 days and have to say I love it though. The vape is slightly more airy than i thought, but not enough to complain about.

I have a 1.5 HH 901 yet to try and a couple Customs: 510 LB LR, and 901 LR behind that, so I won't get to try the new wrap HH"s unless they have already been produced for this order....? I'll have to get my LED flashlight out and check.

I get that occasionally on my REOS. I either add some Noalox or spin the battery so the connection point hits a new place on the battery top. A lighter press on the button so it just makes contact with battery helps too, along with a slight pre-fire. Once it gets going the problem goes away.

Seems like they might not get gunked up as easily this way. Looking forward to trying this new arrangement with my next purchase.

My long barrel HH .357 just died after a week. After 5 HHs Im sure they are not ment to be for me. Regular Cisco LRs last & last & ROCK.

EDIT: Let me be clear...everything positive said about how these perform is completely true. My issue is poor lifespan I have experienced and willing to accept it could be me.

do you think the early demise of the HH's posted here could be because of high voltage on a LR HH?

I am a bit paranoid of putting my HH LR on a VV device because in my experience most of my conventional attys die on my Provari. I used to tend to go up and down, you know, that floating sweet spot?

So far I have used my HH LB 1.5 89% of the time on either an eGo p/t or my Reo Mini... btw, it's firing fine on the Mini now... i guess it just needed breaking in first, or maybe me just getting used to it. The other 11% I put it on my Provari but I make sure it doesn't go above 3.4V heheh.

I've been experimenting with the HH357 today after doing a lot of reading and coming to the conclusion that I may not have been letting it perform to its full potential.

Turns out that was completely true. I always used a drip shield with any atty, because drip shields are fabulous, and I've always had better results since I started using them and flooding (7-10 drops per top-off) the atty. On every other 306 and 510 atty i've tried, this produces by far the best results.

However, this process RUINS the HH357. Following Hanna's instructions religiously and not using anything other than the atty and a drip tip, this thing is performing like nothing I've ever tried. Thunderheads of opaque, lingering vapor with ridiculously intense, pure flavor. And the draw is perfect! In hindsight, not trying this from the get-go feels a little stupid on my part.

I may never buy any other type of atty. The experience I'm having right now with this thing is just that good. And this is after using it constantly for a month with weekly cleanings!
