OK, I don't get it... It's some kind of magical possession or something... Boba's takes over the world via vapers...
Just got my first bottle of BB. A very small one. I figured, you know, tastes are different, maybe I won't like it. Dripped it as soon as I walked through the door with my greedy little paws on the bottle. Mmmmm... Very nice. Swear it's Graham Crackers with a hint of tobacco, maybe smoothed out with something (cream? VG itself? really good Graham Cracker? tobacco is in the background, so I can't tell which one, but definitely not a dry one like Virginia...)
So I load it up in a new Visions Regular (best wicking clearo out there, imho). Tastes a bit more muted this way, but that's to be expected. In a way, it's even nicer muted - subtle, more mysterious, not "in your face". Parenthetically, I usually like "in your face", the more the better. Should have figured something strange was going on right then...
Still, the word I'd use is "nice", not "fantastic", or "great", or even "gosh, that's good". Just a full-bodied "nice". I vape it for a bit - still nice. Still Graham Crackers. I play with the voltage a bit - as expected, different aspects of flavor come out at different temps. Very wide, smooth and subtle spectrum of flavors at lower temps. Harsher, sharper, with stronger tobacco tones at higher temps. At 4.5 Volts more sweetness starts coming out, but I don't normally vape at that voltage, it causes me asthma problems, and I don't think the taste is as good anyway. I actually prefer lower temp vaping. Nice across the board, though - can see how I can suit the temps to my moods.
Now, you have to picture this: I like variety. I have at least ten clearos sitting on top of various size 510s and eGos in a glass with different flavors in them at any one time - at least. It's like some kind of a demented porcupine. With my ProVari sitting in a separate glass with whichever juice has the pride of place at any particular moment. That's not even counting three to five KR808 autos that I have lounging around with more juices, which I use (mostly) when I go out. I vape all of them in rotation all the time. I rarely take more than three pulls on the same juice. Partly because I have taste-buds that "tire" easily, so it helps to switch around. Partly because I have "vaping ADHD".
Of course, Boba's goes on top of my ProVari right at first, because it's new an' all.
About half a day through, I notice that Boba's is disappearing at an alarming rate, while the rest of my juices have hardly gone down at all. Huh?
So I start paying attention. And, yes, indeed, I find myself reaching for Boba's almost exclusively, even over my own personal blended tobacco-juice-from-heck (it's almost black) that took me a couple of months to mix just right (12 ingredients) and that I (rightly, imho) call "The Best Tobacco Juice Ever". Before I know it, I have to refill. By the end of the day I have to refill again. Now, this has
never happened before. Like I said, I switch around too much, and I am not that much of a chain-vaper: I take three to six pulls at a time, and then put down my PV for at least half an hour...
Now panic sets in. I only have a six mil bottle, and I've already gone through half of it. OMG. Fortunately, next day is Black Friday, so I wait until next morning and, still in bewilderment (it's Graham Crackers, for gossakes!), order more.
And here is the really strange thing: Every morning since I started vaping seriously, I have a terrible cig fit. I feel no need for an analog for the rest of the day, but when I first wake up, it's really tough. In fact, I slip on occasion. But the last two mornings, instead of hunkering for a cig, I find myself reaching for - you guessed it! - Boba's...
So here I am. Still profoundly mystified (it's Graham Crackers!
), still vaping almost exclusively Boba's, and shaking in my boots with the thought that I'll be out by tonight. Yeah, it's magic. Boba's is trying to take over the world...
