Official Fogger V6.0 thread!

Thanks Dan. I bought a kayfun 4 clone, and it's piece of crap. I'm sure most of the problems I have with it are due to it's being a cheap clone, but I hate to spend $180 dollars for an authentic before I know I'll like it.

Thing is, if you don't like it, you can sell it on the classifieds very quickly. kayfun 4s don't last much longer than a day on there. That's what I did with my original kayfun, squape reloaded, erlkonigin, and taifun gt2. I made most of my money back so I'm not sore about it.

Side note, I adore my kayfun 4. using it on my dna40 flask with a 0.13 nickel build at 420 degrees, 26 watts, and it's just outrageous

You can definitely build horizontal dual coils on the V5. It takes a bit of practice to get the wicking right so that it doesn't leak but once you get the hang of it I think it's a solid product. My only complaint is that it's really hard to find replacement parts other than the post screws and o-rings that they give you in the spare parts bag. I had the floating center post screw break and I can't use it anymore. Sad panda I guess I'll have to either order a V4 base from fasttech or try and find a used one in the classifieds.

Hey guys. I’m thinking about getting a Fogger and wanted some feedback. I started using a Kayfun Lite+(first RBA) a few weeks ago. I love the way it vapes, but I don’t like having to take out a screw to fill it and the threads on the plastic tanks seem kind of fragile.

I like most of what I’ve read about the Fogger. My biggest concern is that it’s designed for dual coil builds, and I like single coils. Does anybody have experience with single coil builds on the Fogger.

Fogger has a mini version that is single coil.

Sitting here with my nautilus mini wishing my fogger was working... come to papa vape mail! I hope to get it this week but with it coming from the NE it may get snowed in a few days. Me fixing my current one was a fail. But hey, I'll have lots of spare parts now!

Still waiting... It seems that I'm waiting for their stock to get replenished, which has been delayed due to CNY. Just have to remember... good things come to those who vape... I mean wait. In the meantime I purchased a cheap RDA, as a sad attempt for a distraction, and have been playing cloud maker with it.

I'm officially a happy Vapor again. I got my Frankenstein Fogger V6.0 back up and operating! I bored out the large holes and AFC ring to match the holes in the coil deck. I also cannibalized two negative posts from an Youde IGO-W3 and put them on my Fogger with Atom Adhesives AA-DUCT 906 (conductive silver). I coiled it with a dual coil of twisted 30 gauge with a final resistance of 1.3 ohms, and wicked with Japanese cotton. Running it on my iPV mini 30 W at 20 W. Great flavor and vapor production! I'm feeling that I'm going to have to reduce my Nic from 12 to 6 real soon (at least for my Fogger).

How does the Fogger v6 compare to the Billow? I like the Billow but ol' Rip was right, it does mute the flavor a lot.

I don't have a Billow but I do have an IGO - W3. with running twisted coils in each and also having opened up the air flow on the V6 they are fairly close. Only a slight muting of flavors in the V6 however not huge.

I just got the Fogger v6 on Friday. I have an AGA-t5 and a t7. Both leaked like crazy, the only way to get it to stop was to stuff so much cotton in them to the point that you can only get a small trickle of vapor. So my expectations weren't too high when I got the Fogger. Built it at .8 ohms, used just enough cotton to tuck into the juice channels and filled it up. Hmm, no leak. So I shook it and shook it with the air holes over the back of my hand. Not a single drop leaked. So time to take a toke. Huge, flavorful clouds! OK huge for a tank anyway, not so much compared to my Mutation X with a .1 ohm build but for a tank, amazing vapor.

It's now Sunday, I've put about 4 or 5 tank fulls through it and still no sign of leakage. I've left it laying on it's side overnight 2 nights in a row now, just to see if it would leak. Nope, not a drop. If you're on the fence about trying this tank, go for it!

Just broke the glass tank on my V6 today. Does anyone know if the glass tank for the V4 will work? Apparently only replacements for V4/V5 are available at the moment.

I just "eye balled" a V4.1 and a V6 right next to each other. They look the same to me, but no guarantee on that.

THIS link sells them for the v4-v6, looks like it fits all. Maybe you should consider the SS version if you drop things a lot.

A poster HERE says they are the same size as well.

Thanks gentlemen. Actually I've owned glass tanks for a couple of years and have never ever dropped a one. I had my Fogger in my winter parka and swung it over the chair with the pocket smacking the corner of a partition. SS tanks...no thanks..don't care to play peek-a-boo with my juice levels. I managed to find replacements on FT for $1.80 but they claim they are Fogger V4. I tried the glass from my V4, it fits but seems like it has a slightly more narrow I.D. But that could be just my imagination.

These things are 200% perfect wicking to avoid leaking. And never let it run completely out of juice to lose that vacuum effect.

Getting close to 2 weeks later and still hasn't leaked a drop. I've put close to 30 ml of juice through it and the juice stays just as clear as it did right after I built it. Just ordered a second one for my Orange Soda juice.

If you do the wicking correct you won't have any issues with leaking. I only had slight leaking in the very beginning.

I have the 4 that I have been using for a a couple of months and ordered the new one the other day.
I have always used it as a single coil.
Haven't really seen much written about using as a single coil but it works fine for me.
What I do is put the one coil in,wick it the way I want it and then put the bottom part of the chimney on.
Then I just stuff a bunch of cotton down into the side without the coil to block everything off really good.
Works great for me.
