So that's a no-go on coil control for you or do you need to play with it some more?Well, I installed 40cc on the White Queen, and popped a nautilus on that PV included with my order. I'm using the coil installed at the factory that I thought was 1.6, but which registers at 1.7 ohms (figures). I followed the chart's instruction to select coil type "G" for a 1.6 BVC on the Nauti, and experimented on the levels. 7 is a bit warm and meh, 5 is less warm but still meh. Reached for the v20 Black King with the Lon. :shrugs:
You did well...see told you it was something exciting! I'm glad that was announced so quickly, I was dying to tell

Really, I'm not liking the flavor so far. Slightly better flavor at lower levels, but the vape quality suffers. I want to hear if I can try this on a Lon with SS.So that's a no-go on coil control for you or do you need to play with it some more?
Same here.Coil control? ... gonna have to pass on this.
Was seriously hoping it was a pending lawsuit.

Same here.
TC bores me. I like nichome, SS and kanthal and I like simple. Wattage/voltage is all I bother with and can't see that changing. I doubt I will update my Radius unless there are other improvements other than "coil control".
Cool. Thx!There is also a new version 26 software, the bug where the battery was not fully charged is addressed, and some other fixes.

I've gone off temp control lately using kanthal nichrome and stainless builds in wattage mode.Same here.

in the grand scheme of things!Willy Dude get outta my head!!!
I was also hoping the *big reveal* would be something positive related to crushing the FDA!
What I am seeing instead of "get out & fight" is vendors/manufacturers coming out with new mods & or features that don't meanin the grand scheme of things!

I'm really feeling intimidated at the thought of choosing a different alpha setting for a Nauti. I know, I know... bwak, bwak.I'm stunned how well coil control is working with a nichrome 80 build. My other temp control mods suck with this wire. It's working like an absolute champ inside a taifun gt2 (authentic - can't vouch for the clones working as well)
I had no idea there had been updates so I'm quite chuffed with this. For those rolling eyes and resisting because if a belief all temp control stinks. Do yourself s favour and try jt. It's quite different t than the m class. Dna200 Etc. it is a pain to find the right setting but surely we can make a shared Google doc with web fork submission to chart settings and builds.
I'd there's interest j can create one and get jt going? I may do it if only for my personal use.
Who would be in for that?
** heads up. When you're adjusting to test you have to wait for the tank to return to room temperature if changing the alpha value of the coil control settings. Failure to do so (changing directly after vaping) will give far different results and won't taste good or vape well. The instructions from provape say to place he tank on and go through the process they don't specify that you must wait when hanging alpha value. I believe this is an error in documentation, not the result of the coil being set properly. If I had to guess id say the resistance of the coil is read every time the alpha value is set - it doesn't carry across alpha settings without change. I'll reach out and confirm this bt if you had bad results try starting with a7 as specified but before proceeding to b,c,d etc wait 2-3 mins i don't believe you need to wait when changing the numeric value or intensity, which seems to control power not wire curve.
I may be wrong and I'll reach out to confirm but this is my observation so far. Anyone else have a similar one, different one ?

Really happy to hear you can use other than prebuilt coils in cc mode. My results were abysmal with a Nauti, and that's a tank I'm neither experienced with nor overly excited about. I'm planning on loaning mine out to family and friends.
I also have zero experience with TC. I don't even know if mesh-wicked gennies are good candidates for TC! If anyone has guidance on that, I'd much appreciate it.
Sooooo once again it's the cloud chasers fault.Without overwhelming support from citizens vendors have no chance. If the vendors would stop making setups that blow storm clouds that would be a positive step toward repealing laws that came about from moronic sceners trying to out do each other with wheeled generators and
.00000001 builds consuming 15 ml of liquid per storm cloud vaped inside elevators with infants.
Activism has to start with consumers. So vendors can join in and their lawsuits carry more public opinion support. While public opinion is uniformed and biased against ecigs lawsuits sand much less chance of success , proclamations of impartiality aside.
I was told that the hotel I'm in is non smoking and I couldn't "smoke that digital cigarette either" without risking a big fine. I tried to explain its nothing like a cigarette nor is it smoking but they said it's exactly the same and it makes the room smell bad like cigarettes.
This is john q public's opinion. Until we convince them otherwise and counteract the scaremongers paid by big tobacco he public won't realize they're being played and puppeteers in the big tobacco office have well intentioned soccer moms dancing a jig that returns the money and power to the addictive cancer stick of last year.
