The heck with white  I'm holding out for a clear version  I know it may not be a very popular version, but think of it, CLEAR polycarbonate shell where you can easily see the flashy lights, I know you can do it Provape, and you do have a thing for colors. What about the total absence of color? Yeah...............clear... Pssst...nobodies ever done THAT before :D

Next up, STAINED GLASS! Sure, it wouldn't be as durable, but "nobody's ever done that before" ;)

Woohoo! Just got a text it made it to PA! It's only like 30 minutes from me now..... Argh! At least I should be seeing it Monday!

Man, some of you are so lucky! I ordered mine right when it launched (took a bit to decide what color though), and still no shipment e-mail. Could it be the color? I chose blue. Or maybe there were just that many orders and I just have to wait my turn, I guess.

Anyway, GRATS!

I think I've finally caught up with all the messages in this thread. Pardon me if I missed this question--or one like it. The Radius comes with a Samsung 25R. Fine. I don't have a problem with that. However, what would wrong with swapping that out for the new AW 3000mAh flat-top? I have a couple of these that I'm not using, and an extra mAh or two is never a bad thing. I won't be pushing the Radius hard as I vape at eight to 10 watts with 1.6 or 1.8ohm nautilus coils. Thanks.

I'm doing a run-time test with that battery as we speak with the exact same coils, so I'll let you know. when it goes dead. So far it's "looking" like the 25R may actually have a longer run-time with a lower mAh battery, and I expected that outcome from the start. If it proves out, I'll explain why I expected it.

Zen, sounds great. I will follow your advice. Thank you.

Is it an HG2 re-wrap?

As for less run-time, without looking into it, I have a few guesses:
  • Nominal voltage not 3.7
  • mAh rating based on lower end of cycle voltage
  • mAh rating based on lower current draw
EDIT: PS - If only you were using an SX with Joule counter! ;)

I have a question about batteries. Aren't you supposed to let it get low before charging? Its better on the battery I heard. Kinda like the battery has a memory. I was wanting to be able to vape all day on a single charge then charge it while I sleep. I go through 1 1/2 18650s a day.

That's old news, back in the NiCd days. Li-Ion doesn't have those issues - you can charge at any time without affecting its life. As for better on the battery if you drain it all the way, that is suggested for the first 5 or so cycles, but if anything, after that, it's better to top it off than do a full charge due to the heat created in a full charge vs a top-off.

Can somebody recommend to me a dripper that would work well with the radius. Something that is geared towards flavor, has plenty of airflow, and top notch quality. I exclusively use a kayfun4 but would like a dripper for at home use. Thanks!

I like the Vector, It is a top air design so that It can be laid down without leaking. The air flow adjustment is easily adjustable from very restrictive to very very free. It is a very easy build with large wire holes for easy threading. I find the flavor to be very good. It is all stainless and has the drip tip built it, it cannot be changed. I have one bottom feed for my REO and one dripper for my P3. The bottom feed is a clone from REO and the dripper is authentic. These are worth checking out.

Also, someone's gotta send one to @coffeebum, so he can make a mold, so folks can order the ultimate Radius belt-clip holster...

I'm going to need something like this when I get a Radius.

I am looking forward to the results of your research. I would venture to guess why you expected said outcome but someone would jump on me...

In case anyone is still wondering if "Ghost White" is translucent or opaque, it's translucent. You can see that in Tim's interview, and even the product shots. Why do you think they called it GHOST white....? :)

There was a delay with the plastics supplier.

Some are concerned that the beta may not represent the final look or, in some cases, hoping that the Ghost will end up opaque.

There is even a faction, admittedly small, that would like to see Topaque.

Another well liked dripper, The Origen dripper v3 by Norbert.
