Man, some of you are so lucky! I ordered mine right when it launched (took a bit to decide what color though), and still no shipment e-mail. Could it be the color? I chose blue. Or maybe there were just that many orders and I just have to wait my turn, I guess.

Anyway, GRATS!
Its the color! I'm still waiting on shipping notification for my blue. A friend of mine ordered black, several hours later, and his will be delivered on Monday.

Some are concerned that the beta may not represent the final look or, in some cases, hoping that the Ghost will end up opaque.

I highly doubt it, since they called the color "Ghost White" and therefore had every intention of making it translucent, and I certainly hope not, because I like the looks of the product photos (but have to see it in person to make a final judgement).

Center is something I picked up in a random vape shop... 10 bucks.
The one on the Mini is a free one that ByLeo.eu gave me for free with my Sophia order.

This is a pretty big assumption...

Just as mine of an iPhone style white was/is.

Agree - I like the product photos as well. Waiting game I guess.

And if memory serves (though I'm not going to look for Vape360's post on this). They didn't like how translucent the "ghost" was looking and they hinted the final version may be more opaque when they release them.

Morning All! I got a PM from HBManOfTheCorseDude. Here is what he had to say about his dad:

Dad is going better since I got here, then little brother got here, then Dad's best friend of 50+ years got here, then tonight his cousin.
Seems like each visitor brings more good vibes.
As far as I'm concerned, we are still on a razor's edge, but:
1. His white blood cell count has come back all the way down to a "normal" & "healthy" range of 10-12. No longer in the 160,000 range it was four days ago, or the 50,000 range of two days ago.

2. His body temp has stabilized for just over 24hrs, under 100*F. It's been an average of 105 since he went in. The doctors and nurses say this means the septic shock/sepsis is losing its grip.

3. They believe he has an MSSA type staph infection, and they think they've found the point of entry. An unassuming ..... on his finger from a splinter he got a day or two before he collapsed and was taken to the hospital. Treatment for this is responding normally. It's just hard considering everything else.

4. As of now, the diagnosis contains permanent kidney damage, which means dialysis multiple times per week, for life. This remains to be finalized.

He also said he's been lurking but his ability to post from the hospital is very limited. One thing he wanted everyone to know was how PROUD he is of the Provarinati for banding together to get USMC a Radius. I join him in his pride!

Now my update on my brother:

My Sister in Law is from Brazil and her English is not the easiest to get. But she called this morning and said they were transferring my brother to another area of the hospital. Turns out the bad bacteria he got in his blood is E-Coli. And it became so virulent, it shut down his kidneys, so he may have kidney issues for the rest of his life, like HB's dad. The E-Coli likely got in his blood after a routine urological procedure he had, which involved inserting a catheter. I've done some research this morning and was surprised to learn we all have E-Coli bacteria in our intestines. Typically, it's not harmful to us in any way. But if we have a compromised immune system and it gets in our blood, often via urinary entry, it can be fatal. My brother does have a compromised immune system after having Leukemia (even though it is in remission).

The prognosis for my brother is still good, but they will be putting the medicine directly into his heart for the next 10 days. I won't breath a sigh of relief until that course of treatment is finished.

I hope everyone has a good Sunday

Ps: Cable, Telephone and Internet is all up and running smoothly this morning. Maybe, just maybe this Fios stuff is going to work OK!
Well wishes, good vibes, prayers and every piece of good luck conceivable going out to HB's dad and your brother.

We can agree to disagree, in a friendly manner of course. Ghosts are translucent, not opaque.

And if memory serves (though I'm not going to look for Vape360's post on this). They didn't like how translucent the "ghost" was looking and they hinted the final version may be more opaque when they release them.

They might be changing the amount of translucency "to be more opaque", sure, but no way will it be 100% opaque as some people here believe. If they are changing the translucency, my best guess is they don't want the internal components to show through, but they do want the "depth" effect.

EDIT: Advanced search for "posts by Vape360" and "Ghost White" yielded two posts.
Last photo is of the Ghost White. Made with real ghosts

We found out yesterday that one of our vendors is delayed on getting some of the parts made for this one. Maybe they are having a hard time finding ghosts?

We are waiting for some parts still but it should be slightly translucent and you will see some of the led shine through in the front. I'll have to check it out once the parts arrive and we can chat more soon. Hopefully in a couple of weeks that will be ready :)

Has anybody tried a nickel nautilus coil in a kabuki with temp control?

Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
They work great. The kabuki is great MTL TC tank. I will say that for me the coil life isn't as long as the kanthal coils.

I needed to come in here this morning to remind myself of the goodness to come (still feels a bit unreal [emoji14]), as I had a rough night.....long stort short, one of my tenants is an alcoholic....not recovering. Recently wrecked his vehicle from a D.U.I. but decided to ride his bike (pedal type) to the bar yesterday.......caused trouble, apparently got grabby with the ladies, got in a fight with a biker....I had to go pick him up late last night and deal with his drunk @&#!

Sadly I just manage the place, not direct it, or he'd already be gone, but his walking papers are coming, and the nice thing about a sober living? We don't have to give the normal amount of time for eviction........they have three days from day of notice to vacate, or the police come vacate them.

In the plastics world there are different "colors" of white. I am in the sign business and with LEDs ruling our world, the level of translucency really matters for even lighting. The 7328 white is the standard in our business. Let's light through, but you cannot see through it.
Slightly more translucent is 2447 that we call "milk white". It is slightly more translucent but when not lit it has a more gray color. Next up the translucency scale is 2067, which is what the white appears to be to me. It is rarely used for us because while it diffuses light very nicely, you can see too much through it. I am betting they are looking to move more towards 2447.

With 2067 white you will see the batteries through the polycarbonate.
