Don't be nervous, but do be prepared to be wowed. Kabuki on Radius is simply awesome! Yes it is!

Liking that Kabuki are you, Sir Rod of Lube? Had I known, I'd have mentioned it back when we first got them. ;)

I am pretty new to vaping coming from a pipe smoking and cig smoking background. I am thinking of buying to Radius as I have a P3 and Kabuki and I love the P3 connector. I normally am vaping at between 11-14watts so the P3 is seems to have more power that I am currently using.

Notwithstanding that having more stuff is always better :) and it looks very cool, am I going to get much use out of the extra power? I have a kayfun V4 and loving that too, and I also dropped some serious coin on a Squape R(s)

I would like to try sub-ohming too :)

So please help this noob that I need a Radius :D

FWIW, I've just sold a bunch of my custom briar pipes to fund this new "hobby"

It's a ProVari!!!

Yes, you should have pushed me at a Kabuki looooong ago! I'm beyond loving this thing! But I know why you wouldn't have poked me. I had become a Kayfun Snob, and I'm sure you wouldn't have thought I'd ever go back to pre-built coils. And I likely wouldn't have. But then the Kabuki takes a BVC to a level I've never experienced. As good [IMHO] as a Kayfun [maybe better - certainly less fuss]!

I hear the Kayfun is quite good at being a Kayfun, so that solution already exists. The Kabuki is kind of the "anti" Kayfun if you think about it.

But you've also got to consider other factors. It'll have your build & materials quality, you can make it have larger channels for higher wattage/higher vg juice. Kayfuns are out of date due to it being near useless over 15w or anything higher than 50vg due to its microscopic juice channel size and an airflow similar to sucking through a coffee stirrer.

Not to mention it'll have your air flow engineering, a P3 connection, and the Zen branding which also assumes flawless looks.

Believe me, it WILL sell. There are plenty of people who never use sub-ohm tank/pre-built coil heads like me.

I think Sir Rod is like me. Wait till a lot of people come back with absolute positive reviews before jumping on the bandwagon. ;)

In this instance, yes, I was Robin. First, I couldn't believe a system using BVC coils could be any better than the systems they were built for by Nauty. And I had become a Kayfun Snob. Hey, I went to all the trouble to join the coil building club. I had finally grown up and was able to play with the big kids. But then all these people kept saying Kabuki this and Kabuki that. So when I won the Radius, I figgered what they hey. I didn't have to pay for a Radius, why not see what all the fuss is about and buy a Kabuki. And so I did. And I'm floored. The hype is real and the darned thing blows great.

In fact, I didn't show my new system to anyone in my office and one guy noticed me vaping at my desk and asked when I became a cloud chaser. This thing is so smooth and creats gobs of vapor. At 10 watts. Magine that? 10 watts!

Guys and Gals........I got a PM from HB in the middle of the night. Very Sad News. His father didn't make it.

I don't know his father, but I do know HB and I know how much he loved his dad, so I know this has to be really hard for him and his family.

I'm sure everyone will include him and his family in their thoughts and prayers.........

I liked your post to acknowledge reading it and to thank you for posting it.

@HBcorpse ...I am so sorry for your loss

I gots the Kabuki. reserving judgement at the moment. Sorry :(
I am giving it a fair shot. Not everyone is going to love the same thing...but I am trying!

One of the biggest downfalls (For ME) is the quantity of liquid it holds. I seem to blow through the liquid level way too fast.

I don't know if I have just gotten lucky with the builds I make on the Kayfun, but it kinda beats the kabuki in the flavor department. Not by much, now that it has broken in some.

I will use it, don't get me wrong, but side by side..... I have to say (again for ME) the kfl+ works for my style of vaping better...so far.

And that's very fair. Maybe I'm just still not that good at building or wicking a coil, but my first outing with the Kabuki is leading me to prefer it over my KFL+.
