Speaking of software updates:

@Vape360, other than camping out on this thread, which if I keep this up, I'm going to have ask you to supplement my income as I'm not getting any work done, how will Provape notify the zillions of Radius owners when a software update is available?

Suggestion: Maybe have people who buy a Radius register with you for important information about their device.

Guys and Gals........I got a PM from HB in the middle of the night. Very Sad News. His father didn't make it.

I don't know his father, but I do know HB and I know how much he loved his dad, so I know this has to be really hard for him and his family.

I'm sure everyone will include him and his family in their thoughts and prayers.........
prayers to him and his family at this time. I am so sorry to hear this. Really took my by surprise.

Zen, please do not take what I am saying as a mark against you or the device. It isn't. I am just giving one person's findings for my world. :)

If this had come out when I was starting out with the Vivi Novas.... Man this BLOWS that device to all hell and back. Hands Down!

I would not hesitate to recommend the Kabuki to Anyone starting out. The ease of use is PERFECT. I just wish it had been available way baack when.

No offense taken, I appreciate the feeback!

But you didn't change for the sake of change... you had the opportunity to try the thing before buying it. You were able to determine that for your purposes it would be an actual improvement and not a gamble.

There was also a time when plenty of people never vaped. This industry is a revolution that busted the status quot wide open.

And I'm absolutely sure it would sell if I made it. It would also be a step backwards in my goal to obsolete rebuilding in the mainstream vaping industry. At the end of the day, a new product will either be in keeping with, or working against my goals as a product designer.

My over-arching goal is to make combustible tobacco obsolete... It may not happen in my lifetime, and in all honesty I cannot do it alone, not by a long shot. MANY designers and product developers need to get on the same page. In order to do that vaping has to become easier and more mainstream. For vaping to become more mainstream the products have to be easier to use so more people will let go of combustion and pick up vaping.

I took on the challenge of trying to make a device that uses a drop-in coil that could challenge the rebuildable tanks on the market, and every day I get messages from people that say they have left their rebuildables in the desk drawer in favor of the flavor and convenience of the Kabuki. Mission accomplished. But that is only step one in a laundry list of things that need to be done to accomplish my goals.

My next move is to take that concept and make it even better, and even easier to use... so even more people can experience it. Each step will take me further and further away from rebuildables, not heading back. One day there will be a generation of vapers that start out on the kabuki or something similar, or even better... and rebuilding will be just a faint memory of what "the old guard" used to do.

So yeah, If I introduced a rebuildable at this stage, it would sell. I actually have a bigger agenda than selling a bunch of tanks. My goal is to keep advancing so a whole lot more lives can be saved.
That right there is one spectacular mission statement!

@Vape360

One more suggestion (I told you long ago you guys should hire me!). Once someone registers, they should immediately receive an email acknowledgement. It could say something like the following:

Please know that Provape is here to make your experience with your Radius nothing but the best it can be. Should you ever need our assistance, we hope you will feel to reach out. Again, thank you for being a customer and we look forward to maintaining a long term relationship with you. Please feel free to visit our On-Line store at www.provape.com. You will find we have excellent options available, from high grade juice to accessories that meet our high level expectations.

But you've also got to consider other factors. It'll have your build & materials quality, you can make it have larger channels for higher wattage/higher vg juice. Kayfuns are out of date due to it being near useless over 15w or anything higher than 50vg due to its microscopic juice channel size and an airflow similar to sucking through a coffee stirrer.

Not to mention it'll have your air flow engineering, a P3 connection, and the Zen branding which also assumes flawless looks.

Believe me, it WILL sell. There are plenty of people who never use sub-ohm tank/pre-built coil heads like me.

That may be (partially) true of the KFL+, but not the V4. The V4 has 6 lovely juice feeds from the tank to the chamber, a wide enough airflow adjustment range to go from zero to garden hose, and I have had no issues getting it to feed or wick 80% VG liquids.

For the record, my builds generally run between 0.8 and 1 ohm, and I run them at 20W. Also, since having dropped to 0 nic a few months ago, I've gotten to where MTL hits aren't satisfying due to lack of throat hit, and have opened up the airflow to allow for lung hits, and the V4 continues to perform in true Kayfun style.

So yeah, @Zen~ is correct, there's already a Kayfun for that.

Any success with high VG juices on the Kabuki? Just got in Muffin Man and Milk Man which are 80/20 VG/PG

Yup. Vaping The Vape Kitchen's Lemon Cheesecake. It's 100% VG (they extract their own flavors. No PG at all.). Kabuki is brilliant! I'm running at 14.2 watts ...

I am pretty new to vaping coming from a pipe smoking and cig smoking background. I am thinking of buying to Radius as I have a P3 and Kabuki and I love the P3 connector. I normally am vaping at between 11-14watts so the P3 is seems to have more power that I am currently using.

Notwithstanding that having more stuff is always better :) and it looks very cool, am I going to get much use out of the extra power? I have a Kayfun V4 and loving that too, and I also dropped some serious coin on a Squape R(s)

I would like to try sub-ohming too :)

So please help this noob that I need a Radius :D

FWIW, I've just sold a bunch of my custom briar pipes to fund this new "hobby"
There's a juice on the market called Boyd's Bounty. Do yourself a favor and give that a try. Coming from a pipe, that should be right up your alley.

Is it strictly mtl or can you do a restricted lung inhale?
