For the record, I wouldn't worry about the potential battery meter weirdness at all. Sounds like just a little software confusion. Software patches can be applied at home by us.

The batteries they recommend are batteries that they have tested and approved in their own lab. Which has been stated in this forum at one time.
Please know of what you speak before typing. You seem to want to start trouble.
This is my option on the matter and the last comment on it.
Have a good day and better tomorrow.

I always thought it was a physical limitation because of the button size of AW batteries. Because of this I never even tried other brands.
Lem, They did have specific battery recommendations on the pre P3 tube mods. Button top, to prevent reverse battery installation. And AW Batteries for their strict adherence to tight size tolerances, i.e. length. Other button top batteries length could vary wildy, causing undue pressure on the internal board.

Just my thoughts, Jim

I never knew that brand differences could mean size differences and that was one of the reasons for the AW recommendation in earlier models. I thought 18650 meant what it said - at my age I should really have known better.

So, I went back to look at my list, which I haven't updated in a while... And brought everything up to date...

The number now stands at 91 ProVape PVs in my collection...

A complete collection, including all four Radius colors is 112 (If you don't include LED colors on the 2.5)
Counting towards my goal of all 112 versions, I currently have 76 that qualify... I have 6 Duplicates of various models with other LED colors, so while they are unique, they don't count towards the goal... but they WILL count if I ever expand the collection to cover every LED color.

I have 9 "oddballs"... these are specials that were never released to the public that I finagled my way into having OR aftermarket variations such as the Power Pro 26650 conversion and the TeleVari. I also have a few Zenned up customs.

So my guess of needing 20 to complete the collection was a little low... I'm actually in search of 36 more, many of which are still available that I'll grab as I find them... it's my preference to find them at shows and vape shops instead of ordering them online. I try to support the dealer network if I can, plus it's more fun.

The hardest ones to find will be the early PV1s in the odd colors... AND ProVari 2's.. I'm missing 7 of the 2s And those darned PV1s in colors are HIDING! I DEEPLY regret getting rid of the Blue one and the Titanium one I had... which I foolishly traded away before I was collecting. I have been trying to find them for years in presentable condition. These ones are tough to get, it was a LOT of peoples first good mod, and they are very attached to them.

I'm speechless. At $200 each that's over $22,000, which probably about what I wasted to finally get to all P3s, one Radius and Kabukis for each. Any way you could share your spreadsheet with us?

Mis-communication on a World Wide forum is quite easy...

Even though we are all typing on an english keyboard, it doesn't mean we all speak the same form of english.

Hence the shortness of some posts...

...On another note, i do have a glitch....my power bar showed almost full, and just dropped from that to empty Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping

Interesting. Did this happen when the R was on the internal USB charger? Or before you fired the Mod when it was off the USB charger? What happened when you fired the R? Just curious and I apologize if this has already been covered.

How long can you vape on the 25R before it shuts off, at 27 Watts? And are you charging with the Luc, or with the internal Radius Charger?
Hey I figured it out. I did a little research and it's draining normal. I seen something about the battery indicator is different from what Im used to. I just am excited and vaping on it too much [emoji5]

It was not on the charger....showed near full, fired fine...still showed near full...then noticed the button flashing red, checked battery indicator, showed zero...scratched my head

At this point wouldn't fire

Yes, the battery meter in your Radius is a bit more intelligent than the average meter. If you vape quickly, you'll see the meter deplete quicker, but if you stop for a while, it recalculates the charge and you'll see it go up again. The radius and P3 meter is constantly adjusting it's status.

I'm sure someone with more tech splaining skills can splain this far better than I just did, but in simplistic terms that's what it's doing.

Ok great. All is good in the Provi world. Thanks for explaining it to me and thanks for the troubleshooting Zen. Feels good to be in a place where people are willing to help.

Thanks so much. That's really strange. So how did you fix it which might tell us what gremlins are lurking? Bottom plate tightness or a prayer to the vape Gods?

Mostly the prayer [emoji14]
I pulled the battery, basically a hard reset
