So I'm not a raving lunatic :D
You did recall correctly Lem. I found this out the hard way with my first ProVari. Some of my cells would work and others would not power up the device. Provape had me send back the device with some of the cells that would not work. They were EH 18650 IMR cells, The button on those cells was just a small increment shy from contacting the positive post on the board, because the post is recessed, they made a slight alteration to that board to allow my batteries to work. They agreed that my cells were safe chemistry, but the specs on the buttons varied enough from cell to cell that some wouldn't complete the circuit. That is why they recommended the AW cells, among other reasons.

I cleaned the bar so I thought I'd get a pic of all my mods real quick. I also tried to show the effects of different lighting on how the Midnight Blue looks. Also notice the blue flakes in the granite tile and how it changes as well depending on lighting and exposure (can really only even see them with the flash). This is just with my phone.. Still top lazy to pull out DSLR.

The pics without the flash show the blue in the Radius more accurately. (Really the last ones from the left perspective are the "most accurate" real world representation I think).

Website shows 3-4 week pre-order, is that accurate (e.g. mid to late November)? Hoping the 3-4 weeks on the website hasn't been updated for 3-4 weeks, shipping any day now... :)

I think they're shipping faster than that. My guess would be about a week or so before shipping, they are really moving fast. But you never know, they may be filling orders for dealers which Provape has said some have ordered hundreds of them.

If you want it, take a shot. I personally don't think you'll wait more than 2 weeks. I believe Provape overestimates the wait time so there is no possibility of your waiting more than the stated delivery window.

I agree with scotdc --- ProVape appears to be packing and shipping lots of Radii daily. The company was prepared for the rush of orders and seems to be handling it very well. Overestimated time estimates keeps vapers happy and their customer service reps bored instead of handling "where is my order" complaints when something doesn't ship within a day.

It seems most that ordered the first day have them, and it hasn't been 2 weeks yet. Really nice to have something early --- instead of what happens too often elsewhere --- late.

They told me 3-4 weeks and I got mine in less than a week. Way to under promise and over deliver. Love it

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I ordered mine last Friday and was told that there having difficulty stocking the required materials or parts and they are hand making the radius to order so it's looking like 3/4 weeks may be accurate now going to be a long wait my shipping to uk will take easily a week too

I ordered the evening of the second day after ProVape opened pre-ordering (blue), and I received mine last Thursday evening (3 days ago). They are still going with the 3-4 weeks, because (I assume) they do not know if production will meet demand.
