Well, I can't really dispute anything that Twisted guy said in his review. For a lot of people out there, two Benjamins is a ridiculous amount to pay for a simple 40 watt mod with a small display and none of today's bells and whistles when you can get something decent for $40. I mean, I've been vaping my Radius for a week and I don't notice much of a difference in the vape from my old Kanger Subbox mini. This is definitely a niche product, when there are other perfectly serviceable mods out there that perform about as well for a fifth of the price.
That said, I pretty much fall into that niche:
1. I don't build coils, I use tanks like the Subtank, Kabuki, etc...
2. Don't care about clouds, I'm not a hobbyist vaper, just a guy trying to cut down/quit smoking.
3. Since the sub-ohm tanks have come out, I've been a 20 watt vaper, or 10 with the Kabuki.
4. I have the $$$ to pay for what I perceive to be rock-solid reliability/safety from my old Provari 2 days, and a touch of nostalgia maybe
Face it, most of us Radius owners are probably old Provari users with the cash to spend...I bet if someone tried to sell you a 40 watt mod for $200 without the Provape logo, you'd be just as incredulous as that reviewer. The Provape name doesn't carry the same weight to most people, especially those that started vaping in the past year or two.
