There is no risk of bricking the device, so if something happens you can always start over anywhere in the process of updating.

You can also skip updates and you don't need to update incrementally. :)
Beautiful, thanks. One more thing, will future updates include past updates that came before it? So kinda like an All-in-one patch

Nice work and thank you! Just ran the update and all is well in Vegas :) You know what my fav part of the install was? Can you guess? HA! USABILITY rocks with a visual cue! The power button turns red semi flashy on the R while the firmware upgrade is running on the R to "reinforce" the green progress bar on the screen. When completed the power button flashed a few colors similar to a new bat install which also reinforced the screen display. Very fast and the driver install after the required reboot only took about 20 seconds and yes I was timing it because I'm still a geek. Running Win 7 Pro :)
Love to hear from a fellow Vegas Vapor. My replacement hits town this afternoon and I'll be joining you!

Look on the Bright Side RB...

It just proves that ProVape was very wise in their power to battery philosophy.

Twisted is usin a Booty Battery.

just wondering, im looking at a dicodes, evolv or possibly a radius mod. can someone please tell me why provape hasnt touched on TC in this device? it looks like a solid mod and scrolling menus are fine with me. im just having difficulty justifying spending $200 on 40 watt device. im lookin for an accurate device and so far it looks like evolv is at the top then provape and lastly dicodes IMO. thanks guys.
One of Provape's executives was on an internet vaping show/podcast and he mentioned that in Provape's opinion temperature control had not been reliably manufactured in any mod yet. He mentioned that what they tested was inaccurate at best and they didn't feel it was up to Provape standards of accuracy so it wasn't included in the Radius.

I forget which show it was, maybe someone can chime in. It is mentioned in the Vaping Twisted 420 video review, but I hate to recommend watching that video unless it's just for laughs. It's pretty cringe-worthy. And the fan boy comments on You Tube are nothing short of vicious.

Vape 360 said earlier that TC is not reliable enough for them to take the risk on it, but hinted that they are working on something of their own design.

Price wise it's worth it, true accurate power at 800+MHz, best customer service in the mod side of the industry, better than military spec construction. Class 3 electronics.

My real world trials at my local B&M had everyone there wanting one. They all said it beat out there mods and we're talking kanger, eleaf, VS, IPV and sigeli. The only mods it didn't out perform power wise were the dual batt mods but the sentiment was that the vape was smoother on the radius.

About halfway through the Plumes of Hazzard video. (1.05.00 mark)

Well, I can't really dispute anything that Twisted guy said in his review. For a lot of people out there, two Benjamins is a ridiculous amount to pay for a simple 40 watt mod with a small display and none of today's bells and whistles when you can get something decent for $40. I mean, I've been vaping my Radius for a week and I don't notice much of a difference in the vape from my old Kanger Subbox mini. This is definitely a niche product, when there are other perfectly serviceable mods out there that perform about as well for a fifth of the price.

That said, I pretty much fall into that niche:
1. I don't build coils, I use tanks like the Subtank, Kabuki, etc...
2. Don't care about clouds, I'm not a hobbyist vaper, just a guy trying to cut down/quit smoking.
3. Since the sub-ohm tanks have come out, I've been a 20 watt vaper, or 10 with the Kabuki.
4. I have the $$$ to pay for what I perceive to be rock-solid reliability/safety from my old Provari 2 days, and a touch of nostalgia maybe :)

Face it, most of us Radius owners are probably old Provari users with the cash to spend...I bet if someone tried to sell you a 40 watt mod for $200 without the Provape logo, you'd be just as incredulous as that reviewer. The Provape name doesn't carry the same weight to most people, especially those that started vaping in the past year or two.

I am cursed. Well and truly Radius cursed. I think I'm gonna cry.

With great anticipation, I ordered on Day One. Cabernet Red. A week later it came and I didn't care for the color, just didn't look like the pics to my eye. @Planethead stepped up and took it off my hands, so I went for the Black Onyx. Much better!

It died within a day. Fantastic service from @Vape360, they took care of me and we sent our Radius ships passing in the night, my Onyx Black for a brand spanking new one. Yes!

My long anticipated Radius replacement finally arrived today.

It's Cabernet Red.

Pass the Kleenex please. I don't think I can do this again.

you are probably right about that. none of the shops that i know of here in houston even plan on carrying this. It makes me sad cause i would love to see one in person. Most all the shops cater to the cloud chasers. And there is nothing wrong with that. i just worry that with the fda all these cloud chasers have made things bad for the rest of us. They may end up with products that dont go as high as they want. Personally i dont see why anyone would even need 200 w. I vape all day every day and there is just no need in 200 for keeping me off the stinkies. to each their own. I am just glad provape made a box mod. i just wish they had done it sooner so i would have not wasted money on other boxes.

I was itching to see a Radius review ..... Just wish it were done by someone not cussing every other word.
Listening to him I can't see any one other than fans buying this.
Good thing his opinion doesn't guide my purchases.
