Other box mods I've tried are too big in my hand or too weighty. Even smaller box mods were uncomfortable after a time. For some reason, the Radius ergonomics work for me. I don't put my minis or P3 in 650 mode often because of the length so the Radius serves me well when I'm out and about.
I was thinking this myself yesterday - the whole feel of the radius is very good - it just balances perfectly in the hand. Whoever was responsible for this (I'm sure it's not accidental) has done a very good job indeed :thumb:.

Quite well.....both at home and away.

Here's my recent vacation gear. One for when the other is charging and my adorable well used Defender for flavor change and back up. A couple of extra coils, for just in case, some liquid and my trusty USB hub for all my electronic gadgets. Wonderful!

So nice to be able to travel with an elitist device.

And -- I still took too much gear!
Wow those are nice set ups.

I get your point but economics play a huge factor in buying decisions. If you've got multiple devices with the 510 connector and only one with a P3, it would stand to reason you'd want something that works with both. And honestly from what I've been reading, not everyone has jumped on board with the P3 standard. People aren't going to ditch their current devices because the P3 is the new hit wonder in very limited use.

Exactly. I had every intention of getting my wife a radius. That would have given her 2 devices with p3 thread. We went to a show and a vendor GAVE her a hexohm. She is really happy with it. So in order for her to enjoy a kabuki I had to get her one that is 510. This way she can use it on all her devices. Once it shows up I will let yall know what she thinks of it. Really I can't wait. Making her happy makes me happy. Best feeling in the world.

JWrap woodgrain (textured) over my black Radius. The other one in the pic is the Midnight Blue.

I'm very impressed. I just put it on and threw the Kabuki on for pics. Gonna let it sit overnight at least before using.

mine too - hadn't noticed it before you said. Just a very faint machining mark I think?
Is the threading smooth? It looks a little rough. My two P3 top caps are really well done. Shiny and smooth. The pictures I've seen look a bit unfinished on the Radius. Maybe a result of bead blasting?

threading is really smooth - the radius has a more matt finish, it isn't really shiny.

That's an excellent question as I heard they were moving to Arizona too, but don't know if they did yet.

I quit getting juice from Mount Baker vapor when they started charging california sales tax on my orders. I never buy anything like mods or tanks from them, so I'm hoping maybe moving to Az they will not charge CA tax if I order any juice...their juice is so-so anyway and not worth it to me paying CA sales tax...oh well, lol

Yay! Look what the post office just delivered! My original Radius had a crash and stopped working. The fall shouldn't have stopped it from working, so the engineers are having fun figuring out what went wrong. In the meantime, they replaced it a new one. One thing I'm excited to see is the sticker on the lid of the box to register your device to be notified of updates. That there was my suggestion to Provape! Yes it was!!

Thanks! I picked this tip up as well.

Not sure which I like better yet.

Finally we (me and my friends) received our RADIUS in Mexico, mine came with the firmware version 16. Last night I updated it to the 18 version without problems.

I have been playing with it, so far I like it very much, I choose the Onyx Black (I really wanted the Ghost white), the device feels very good at hand, a good balance between the size and weight (although I would like it more if it was smaller).

When I bought it, I was unsure about the polycarbonate body, but it indeed gives it a nice touch, it looks and feels as what it is, a high quality device, it is a great combination of materials (I was wondering how it would look like with the side plate (where the USB port is located) on stainless steel).

I have not complains with the max wattage it is capable, as due my style of vaping, 40 watts is much more than enough (currently vaping a Tilemahos with a 0.65 ohms, 28 AWG Titanium alloy coil, at 17.2 watts, Boost 3). I do not know if it is a placebo effect, and do not know how to explain it, but I feel the vape more "clear" than when vaping at the same wattage with my Vapor Flask DNA40. And looks like the battery will last forever, I have been vaping all day and the battery icon indicates the battery is almost full !

In generral, I do not have problems with the menu, I could say I like it, however there are somethings I find odd:

I would like they implement a "one hand" locking mechanism (as the usual single button 5 clicks method), having to press three buttons at the same time and wait until it locks in my opinion is impractical. Sometimes you feel you are pressing the three buttons, but you are pressing only two.

When it is "locked", you can still change / set the watts, unless you implicitly lock the watts also, by pressing the +/- buttons at the same time.

I have noticed, that when setting the watts (increase or decrease), the scrolling values are confusing:

It has an (Up / Down) pointing arrow on the screen that indicates if you are increasing or decreasing the values (watts), at the same time, the upper part of the screen shows the next value, while you see at the left bottom part the current value.

The thing is that sometimes both values get synchronized: shows the same values at top and bottom (I think it should be the normal behaviour).

Showing different values (next value at top and current value at bottom) could be confusing, and if you add that "jumping" thing that the "scrolling values" do when you change from increasing to decreasing (or vice versa), makes it even more confusing.

I think the screen should remain turned on a little more time when setting the watts (the "Time" setting in the menu, only applies to the "vaping" screen). A option to set the time that the screen should remain turned on while setting the watts, would be even better.

This is silly, but the USB dust protector is very easy to lose, I wonder why they didn't use those plugs with a tail inserted in the body to not lose them when unplugged (as some cell phones use to have).

Excuse my confusing English :D
