I never buy anything on e-bay unless the seller has a good feedback rating (99%+). Do K4s have a serial number etched into the atty itself? that might be a way to verify it...
KF4 has a number, but its on the box, not on the atty. Weird huh?

I was wondering that myself. Good question!

So I used the B and O in the Radius beta last night. Works great and should make some people very happy! :sneaky:

I used B and G, which worked great. A lovely feature, indeed!

I wasn't so sure how I'd like M, but now that I've played with it, I think it's a nice addition. Don't you agree!

The first thing I did after installing the firmware was trying out M. I liked it so much, it'll remain a permanent part of my Radius' configuration.

So I got my Radius today in the mail. Woohoo. Question.......Any reports of the silly gold cap thingy popping off/breaking. The gold thingy where the battery is at? Just seems so odd.
I had to open the battery compartment to get mine out...good reason to explore the inside :)

No, none. Not sure it's silly though. And it's nicely and firmly in place when the bottom screws are in place.

Speaking of firmware updates? Which one of you two will be leaking it to us? lol j/k :pop:

Just as a data point, my Black Radius, ordered within the first hour and among the first day shipments, failed within the past week, dead with a blank screen. I initiated a support ticket outlining my problem resolution steps taken. Blake responded the same day, verifying my address and Radius color. The replacement was sent out the same or next day, USPS priority mail, along with a prepaid return label and completed RMA form. As painless as possible.

Coincidentally my 2nd EVIC VTC Mini, purchased Black Friday, failed yesterday with a similar blank screen. I'll see how the warranty support on that goes... at least it failed relatively quickly.

that is just sad that the eVic died already.

Honestly, it was just as sad, at almost 7x the cost, that the Radius died within a month or so. It can be chalked off to new product teething, but the EVIC is pretty new too.

I too had an issue with my first Radius, which was replaced. Provape came on the forum a few weeks ago and let us know they had gotten a few bad capacitors from a vendor and that is likely what happened to yours. It's not universal to all first shipped devices though. So, they're replacing them as soon as one goes south. You simply can't get better service from a company than what you get with Provape.
