ProVape was very specific on this and the Radius will NOT have TC. They said no Provari will until the science is completely perfected.

Well considering every Mod & their auntie have TC now

Evolv & Yihi doing it with accuracy bar human error or failure to RTFM

This will sadly turn out like the P3 for me .... too little too late

Yes my 2.5 works like the day I bought it and with ProVapes record of reliability am sure it will for many years to come

But that just means its a reliable device gathering dust

TC has been around too long now to not be included in a high end or even middle of the road device

Waiting for complete perfection of TC means the day we change from heating metals with all the inconsistencies that come with building coils & switch to laser fired devices with IR temp monitoring

Didn't know this existed.....just ordered some from fasttech.....but they only sell them in 100 pieces...and with audio plugs too....LOL...well I guess I am stocked up on these soon. Also needed black and translucent, so 200 comming my way...for the grand total of $3,50...[emoji38]
You SHOULD be OK for a spell, Dru.

I can see it is really disappointing for those who want TC (or high watts) but as you say there are lots of other mods (not quite ‘every’ :) ) that do have it so it could be worse. The way I see it is that provape’s record of reliability is as it is because they don’t add anything until they are completely happy it will work to their standards consistently – personally it’s why I like them as I am a very cautious person. However…..there was a hint that it is something they are working on - way back when someone said they would never have it, their response was ‘you may be surprised’. I do think TC is interesting but not a necessity for me - I'll probably be ready to try it years after provape provide it

Excellent - just ordered some translucent - might not be able to get my ghost white radius yet - but at least I'll be ready for it when it arrives :thumb:

I got to see a Radius at Vapercon today. Actually two, a black one and a white one. I really like my 2.5s, but I just might buy one of these at some point. It’s a sexy little beast. It
probably won’t be liked by really high wattage vapers and those that use more than one 18650 battery per day, but for me it would work great.

OK, you've actually held one. What are the two little cogs on the underside for please :)

It has a USB...

The new chip also senses any custard notes on your atty and shuts off the power while providing a 'Diketones' warning

Something tells me ... those new laser fired devices will still disappoint you.

Last night I screwed a 0.16 Nickel coil into a Kanger Subtank and fitted it to a DNA 200 device. Cold the ohms read 0.18. I set the device to 420F and fired it at 40 Watts, left if for a bit and when I returned it read 0.13ohms and gave a cold anaemic vape unless I continued raising the temperature until I reached 520F+. Hows that accurate? I could have locked the resistance but that would't have been accurate either.
Human error doesn't account for the failure, I was using one of the most common tank and coil set ups on the market on one of the best Temp control chips on the market.
At this stage of the game I couldn't with clear conscience recommend a Temperature control device to a new Vaper and since Provape presumabley take into account the needs of Vapers of all experience levels it doesn't surprise me they don't include it as another bullet point to generate sales.

I think TC as it is now just reduces power, rather than regulate the temperature and power.
My EVIC-VT delivers a very consistent vape. It's consistent during the length of a single vape that could last as long as 10 seconds, until the device times out. And consistent from vape to vape. Until the resistance drifts :). That's regulation, not just a "mindless reduction".
