Me likey yer style, erieboyz. No doubt you'll let us know when your prize arrives? ;)

@Vape360 and I believe @JohnD0406 have both confirmed that the Radius will only accept 800mAh when charging, so it doesn't matter what fancy-pants charger you use...it will only draw a maximum of 800mAh during charging. It's too smart to fry.

------------------
Dad took a half step backwards last night.
When he was admitted, his blood pH levels were very acidic, so they've had him on drugs to help bring the acid down, as well as fluids to flush the lactic acid out of his system.
Well, if very acidic is the left side of the road, he crossed over the middle of the road, and drifted a little too far to the right side...which is alkaloid.
As a result, he wouldn't wake up, and they were worried he was having seizure-like episodes. They ran imaging on him, found no internal bleeding, and one unrelated clot.
So they've got him back on a cocktail of BigPharma juices, to bring him back to the middle of the road. One helps keep blood pressure up, and some Tylenol for the slightly elevated body temp which showed back up overnight.
Other than that, the baby steps he's made, since being admitted last week, have still added up to good things.
He's still a very sick man, and anything can change any minute...but for now, all his doctors and specialists are very optimistic.
He's fighting hard.

HB della corpse....... Hugs. Big fat ones.

So ... with this talk of a "broken Radius" (sounds like a diagnosis) ;-)

But seriously, it was mentioned and I'm wondering:

A.) Is it true?
and
B.) What the heck happened??

They need to contact ProVape and open a ticket. Probably won't know till ProVape gets the device and looks at it.

Nothing is 100% infallible. Let's hope the failure rate stays at the one :)

Received my Onyx Radius earlier today and have to say I am not a fan at all of the firing button. Getting a lot of misfires and partial fires regardless of how I hold/fire it. I have the same issue with the P3 as well but always assumed it was because of the way I hold it and the small size of the button. Size is also a bit bigger than what I would have preferred considering what's inside of it and I really wish they would have used the same display as the P3. I hate the battery meter. The percentage gauge was much better and would also be much more useful now when charging to see exactly where you're at. Fit and finish is perfect though and I really do like the design but will probably just be my at home mod due to the size. I would love to see a Radius Mini sometime in the future. 18350/15 watt would be perfect for me

and on my Fluke 8846A/SU it reads 3.106550 (nitecore fails by being off by ~.10 and Luc fails by being off .00650... Luc for the win)

That's because it's missing some letters at the beginning and end of the name... ;) Luc? Fluke? Exit stage left...

Over the last 4 years I developed the habit of not charging my batts overnight. Doesn't matter if I'm using a no-name wall-wart for onboard batts or an Xtar or Pila for removable batts. I don't even leave batts on the charger when I'm not in the house. But I always charge my iPhone overnight and don't worry about anything blowing up (duh!)

I'm re-thinking this w/ the Radius - thinking about using my iPhone charger. I think that's rated at 1 amp so the Radius should charge at it max .8 amps.

I've gotten a good 1 & 1/2 days on the batt so far and the gauge still shows about 1/3 left. But I'd like to start tomorrow w/ a fresh batt as I may be away from the house all day.

So ... what do ya'll think about charging it overnight? Safe? Or just give it some downtime while I'm around for charging.

Put it inside of a Toaster Oven...

Until your confidence builds.

Do you think it might change following some use?

I know that a New Provi can have a stiff button at first.

Thanks, Jim

And of course the Ghost white will be the lightest as Hamsters in spirit form are weightless ;)

I charged my Radius last night while I was sleeping and I'll do it most every night going forward. It's a Provari. It was designed with safety in mind.
