Get a cheap cell phone screen protector, and cut it to the size/shape of the Radius screen. You'll have quite a bit left over to make more too.
Funny you say that because I already had some 3M paint protectant film arrive in the mail today! I figured with the curve, it would be best to use something with some stick to it.

Ah ha ... that' what I can do w/ the rest of the screen protector ... protect the screen. I was being a little OCD and thinking of getting a cheap protector and cutting it to the shape of the Radius's bottom. Stick it on - then I wouldn't worry about scratching it when setting it down.
And I didn't think about using it on the bottom - haha great idea!

Thanks for the reminder. When ordering spare tanks from Ibtanked, I got the larger one to try, too. Probably won't even bother with the trial.

A Larger tank will not work... sorry. If IBT is selling a larger tank claiming it will fit the kabuki, they need to stop doing that.

So ... what do ya'll think about charging it overnight? Safe? Or just give it some downtime while I'm around for charging.

I charge mine every night with a apple cube.

I do...

Just as a lipo bag is for...

Lipo Batteries

Well, we CALL them LiPO bags because charging LiPos can be deadly, but they are a great safety precaution for charging any batteries. I mostly Raw Dog it these days with the Radius on the Granite Counter top.

So only 60 watt version will get hamsters?

The Hamster is what made it possible to get to 60 watts... well... that and the flux capacitor... and the threat of battery explosion.

Can a car charger be used?

Yes, a Micro USB car charger will work fine.

The screen went off on mine about an hour ago. It still fired for a few minutes afterward then eventually shut down.Took the battery out and put it back in and it seems fine . I've been using it continuously since I received it yesterday and have had no
problems until now. Of course this had to happen while I'm at work with no backup. Hopefully it will be fine at least for the rest of the night.

Hi Mirags,

Keep an eye on this and see if it happens again. I'll have Kenny PM you with our email address. Could be a bug in the software, which can be easily fixed via USB.

With any new product, bugs can surface. We will get them squashed.

I sold a Radius to a guy today that said “I can’t own that because it won’t drive my build” and I said... “so build a coil it WILL drive and see if you like it”
He proceeded to re-coil his atty to 1Ω... and left with a new Radius.

Also a good idea, think you could update us with your results? And maybe some pictures after it's applied??? =)

Yep 3/4 of the colors are shipping. The white is not and to the best of my knowledge isn't ready for pre-order yet either.

You are just SO jealous you don't have a 1930's pressure cooker! Admit it, John! :D

I'm an engineer, not a chef. Looked like a pot to me. Definitely not a kettle, definitely not black. But, you can't seal it with a wire going inside... ;)

Zen, no claim on their part. I noticed it was the same diameter as one they say has been reported as a fit, and I took it from there. My $5 error in judgement.

If THIS doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what does.
They should put this little story on the website, for the advertising!
Love it Zen!

Have you tried Tim's sleeves? They fit like a glove but can still be taken off. Definitely professional.

Sleeves never look or feel quite right from what I have seen. And for leather I would just have the plastic parts covered, leaving the metal exposed...
