Wouldn't the one for your iPhone work?

Nope. While USB is standard on the USB side, the devices themselves typically vary the connection (Apple uses what they call a lightning connection). I've checked all the USB charging cables I have and none fit the Radius. So, I just figured simple. Go to www.provape.com and surely they have them. You know for the person who goes on vacation and accidentally leaves it in their hotel room, or taxi cab, or office over the weekend. I just want to have a backup for one of those uh-oh times.

no.

The Radius does not use the same connector.

Maybe when (and I hope when happens) Provape has a Mac version of the Radius they'll offer an option for the Radius to use a lightening connector instead of micro-usb. (joking, just joking about the connector)

Oh, okay. From the pictures of the Radius I thought it had a little port on the body.

ETA: Never mind, I'm confused. I'll have to see a Radius in person to understand.

Do you know for a fact the connection is a standard Micro-USB?

I would assume it is. They wouldn't use a proprietary connection like some mobile phones and cameras, and USB only has 2 sizes- standard and micro. From the pics I have seen it is a micro USB connection...

Then I'm thinking your other usb cables are not standard micro-usb. I'm using a micro-usb cable I use on other onboard charger mods on the Radius no problem. The one that came w/ the Radius is still in the box.

Drop it! Were sick and tired of the griping. I'll go to an old folks home if I want to hear griping. I've had enough!. PLEASE SHUT UP AND GO AWAY! Thank you.
Ever think, that even though the Radius is not for me, I want to hear about it--- both good and bad, as I have friends who I believe the radius/kabuki combo would be perfect for. But I'm such a bad guy spending my time reading up on this.

For those that respect me, and my opinions, I give the same respect... But attack me or my choices, and yes, I will speak my mind.

But for some reason, I don't think telling a paying member of this forum to go away is really the spirit of this place. Is it perfect here, no. Are things that could be improved. Yes, and just as you can speak your mind, I should be allowed to speak mine. So I'm not going to go away. If you want to drop it, and coexist, then show me the same respect and civility you want... But until now, I have never spoken to or addressed you.

Vape360, this is your thread. Get rid of this idiot. You're the only one who can do it.

Someone let me know when that troll is gone. I'm out until then. I get tired of the whining.

Don't leave. Just put 'em on your ignore list if you can't resist reading it.

I'll reimburse you if you'll just go away.

Don't go away mad, just go away!!

Off topic from the radius but still on track with this thread. I totally want to get my wife a kabuki based off the great reviews from you guys, but here is the question. If it is using the aspire heads what makes the flavor so much better than using that same head in a nautilus?

You are correct that the original USB specification only defined 2 connector types - but it has been expanded. There are a variety of micro USB connections available. Here is a link to different types.

It does have a port on the side of the Radius. On one end of the cable is a standard USB connector, which can be connected to any computer or laptop USB, or you can put the USB into a charging brick, like what is supplied by Apple for iDevices. But on the other end is the mini connector, which can vary from device to device. If Provape is using a standard Micro Port for the Radius, Stevegmu is correct that I can pick up an extra cable just about anywhere. I just don't have any other micro USB cables to test this out. And I wouldn't want to purchase a cable that won't work, so that's why I asked if Provape will sell them.

It could be those special hamsters Zen raises, but to be honest, I don't have a clue why it's so much better. It just is SO MUCH BETTER.
