If ProVape doesn't offer them, I'd just take the Radius into the Walmart and after a brief stop at the cereal Island for a quick vape, hit Electronics and start plugging away until the right connector is found...

I suppose I can certainly do that. I just was hoping I could:

1. Click add to cart
2. Check ship to address
3. Checkout and wait for USPS to bring it to me

But your suggestion can work too.

Oh, okay. From the pictures of the Radius I thought it had a little port on the body.

ETA: Never mind, I'm confused. I'll have to see a Radius in person to understand.

It has a micro usb port......most micro usb cables will fit (there is some variance in size, so if it feels too tight dont use that cable), most android phone cables will work.

I would assume it is. They wouldn't use a proprietary connection like some mobile phones and cameras, and USB only has 2 sizes- standard and micro. From the pics I have seen it is a micro USB connection...

I have a question..... Aren't we all here because of a common goal... And that was to get off the crap (insert favorite brand of
Stinky here)??? Why is there so much mud slinging about how one chooses to vape!?! If u enjoy blowing clouds at 3 trillion watts with some insane coil build. Good for you!!! If you enjoy 10 watts with a nautilus. Good for you! If cigalikes work... Good for you!!!! All I know is I vape with whatever works for me... And I am here because a Provape at low watts works FOR ME! I haven't smoked a Marlboro in over 2 years cuz I found a method that works. Please stop all of your bashing of someone's method or choice of mod Just because you use the highest watt mod with the lowest ohm build and can blow a cloud the makes a hurricane look like a cotton ball doesn't make you any more a vapor then any one else. We use what we use cuz it works!

It does have a port on the side of the Radius. On one end of the cable is a standard USB connector, which can be connected to any computer or laptop USB, or you can put the USB into a charging brick, like what is supplied by Apple for iDevices. But on the other end is the mini connector, which can vary from device to device. If Provape is using a standard Micro Port for the Radius, Stevegmu is correct that I can pick up an extra cable just about anywhere. I just don't have any other micro USB cables to test this out. And I wouldn't want to purchase a cable that won't work, so that's why I asked if Provape will sell them.

Amazon has lots of options and I would think as mentioned places like target, radio shack, phone stores would have them.

This is a cool option: left angle will route the cable down if you want a low profile connector and the cable going down to the bottom while vaping and charging.

You are correct that the original USB specification only defined 2 connector types - but it has been expanded. There are a variety of micro USB connections available. Here is a link to different types.

Thanks for the link. So the correct terminology for the proper USB is a micro-USB B connector, not just micro-USB.

lol I probably have near 20 micro usb cables from various things I have purchased from over the years, I find it strange people don't have at least 1 or 2 extras lying around. I actually kind of cringe when I get another one like "Sheesh what to do with these things"

Anyhow I just pulled the trigger on another 2.5. Satin black. Pretty excited.

I am going to hold out on the radius for a while. I think it looks very nice but it's just not in my price range at the moment. Really happy the 2.5's have gone on sale. Going to retire my zombie 2.5 and have it as a back up. But for how well these things work will probably never need to dust it off haha.
