Sorry, I was vaping at 9.5 to 10.0 watts.
I don't about opening a ticket, maybe the next charge will last?
Electronics DO get warm when charging or being used, but what you're describing sounds like an internal issue, and could potentially have more effects on the life/performance/safety of the device.I noticed the top part of the mod underneath the screen and behind the buttons was very warm to the touch. Strangely, it wasn't the metal top plate but the polycarbonate that was warm.
Thanks seniorboy. There is also a petition with the goal of fighting the tobacco classification here. Www.vapingpetition.comAlthough this post is not ProVape centric, it is very important for all vapers, so please humor me.

Thank you.
Yea talk to provape. No issues as of yet with mine but I haven't used the built in charger yet. I did have a similar situation with my p3 getting hot on only one atty and it turned out to be a dirty 510 somehow causing heat at the connector.Well, Day One with the Radius was pretty much a disaster.
My Black Onyx arrived late yesterday afternoon, so the first thing I do is plug that baby in and promptly went to bed (Graveyard guy). The lightning bolt showed up on the screen and when I got up the Radius showed fully charged. BUT, I noticed the top part of the mod underneath the screen and behind the buttons was very warm to the touch. Strangely, it wasn't the metal top plate but the polycarbonate that was warm. Hmmm...
Let it sit for about an hour and it cooled off somewhat, but as I started vaping, it would again get warm after just a few vapes and took about 45 minutes to cool completely. Maybe this is normal I thought, I have had my P3 get warm after chain vaping, even though my VaporShark never did. But the P3 would cool off very quickly. Okay, maybe the plastic is retaining heat.
Well, as I vaped, I could see the battery draining practically with every 5 puffs. Long story short, the Radius died before my shift ended. I didn't a low battery flashing button (even though the battery meter proved to be accurate) until I got one red flash when it died. I tried opening the battery cover and pulling out the battery to reset - no luck, still dead. I managed to vape about 1/2 of my Kayfun (2ml) when it died.
Maybe there's a break-in period for the battery?
I don't know, the warmth I felt on the Radius kinda bothered me, almost like it was feeding power to the atty continuously and draining the power.
How's everybody else doing? I hearing 2 days on a charge for some of you. Does your Radius feel warm to the touch?

Nobody took my riddle challenge yesterday, so I'm going to provide the question.
The riddle went as follows:
The answer is 42ml
What's the question?
I was going to guess "What is the meaning of a lifetime supply of eLiquid at the vape lounge at the end of the universe?"
Also turned it up to 12.5w. WowThanks, i changed the coil and its better, I think I will get used to it.

I figure some people have different ways of charging their Radius, I wanted to ask how and what you are using to charge and how long it takes to charge
Today I tried a 1A wall Adapter with a USB cable that came with the Wall Adapter.
Started the charge around 8am and I just checked it, (4:50pm) the battery icon is full but still has the lighting bolt on it
So I'm guessing the USB cable for some reason is only letting it charge at 0.5A instead of 1A
Or is the Radius designed to charge at lower Amps, maybe 500mAh?
How high of Amps does the Radius charge at?
Next charge I will try the Provape USB cable with the 1A wall Adapter.
If nothing changes I have another 1A and a 2A wall Adapter I can try.
All 3 of these and the USB cables are from other mods, not phones.
I believe that Vape360 said the Radius charges at 800mah provided the USB cable and charger support it.I figure some people have different ways of charging their Radius, I wanted to ask how and what you are using to charge and how long it takes to charge

It can charge at UP TO 800MaH if the wall wart can sustain that rate.
Yea I remember that now, soon as I read that I remembered that being saidI believe that Vape360 said the Radius charges at 800mah provided the USB cable and charger support it.
ETA: Zen beat me to it.
I just checked it and lighting bolt is gone and it is fully chargedI hope Provape will chime in, but I believe as long as your Radius is plugged in, even if it is fully charged, the lightning bolt will show.
I charge my Radius while I sleep, and I use (I did buy another micro-usb cable to have one at the office and one at home), but I use an iPhone brick on the wall to charge my Radius. I'm sure it charges pretty quickly, but it stays plugged in until I get up in the morning.
