Well the Radius is back to being naked. It just feels so good raw dogg!

Great! Nekkid is always good. Seriously, however, it's always been puzzling how Apple, ProVape, etc. make such nice looking products and everyone tries to cover them up. And I'm guilty too. But I do use on my iDevice the least amount of cover possible.

I got the silicon cover for the radius....just in case. I'm not nuts with it, adds a little extra size and it's a dust magnet, plus not very easy to pull out of the pocket.

I have always gotten cases for my iPhone's because the bare on the slippery size and the entire front is glass, I like some level of protection. IMHO the Radius kind of has that protection built in, I feel it is much more durable.

I case my iPhone/iPad, cuz they don't fall well. Other than maybe a scrape, Provari's do fall well.

My Galaxy Note 5 is sitting nicely in a UAG case ;-)

I am helping a friend. So I don't have to read thru 534 pages here, can somebody give me the WEIGHT of the radius (w/out atomizer, etc.)? Looked at specs on Provape site and do not see that.

TY.

Also what is battery life compared to 18490 batt in a 2.5 provari titanium? Bells and whistles always do make a battery run down faster. Not *sure* if radius will be overkill for this person.

TY again. :)

I go through 2x 18490's in a Provari 2.5. The 18650 in the Radius lasts me 1 1/2 to 2 days.

My wife's digital kitchen scale shows; 6.75 oz, 192 grams (including battery) and no topper.

Vape 360 says 6.2 ounces, and that includes the included battery. Some have weighed it confirming the 6.2 is rounded up and other scales differ. It's not light. However, it is quite comfy, good size and nice hand feel.

The bells and whistles do not encumber this mod's battery life. It will either be the same or better than any ProVi with an 18650 of like kind. I use a lot of 18490's, but for me the battery life of any of my 18650's is significantly longer.

Though my Radii are quite wonderful, I won't be giving up my Ti's! With the current price of the 2.5, it's a fabulous deal.

TY MikeE3 and Tearose.

I will pass that information on to my friend.

Maybe somebody who talks w/Provape a lot can ask them to put the weight on their specs....they usually do. I think it's kinda as important as the dimensions. :)

I do a lot of online shopping in the technical / hiking clothing market, and am always talking to companies about not comparing products in a standardized way in their specs. Like in one spec it will give all the materials, and in another spec on a different jacket, it will leave that out. ditto on the weight of jackets, etc. Drives me nutz when trying to make one-on-one comparisons of products.

I picked up a pair of LG HG2 3000mAh batteries to use with my Lavatube 3, since it ate through the AW 2200mAh batteries that I use with my ProVari in a matter of 30 minutes. Based on my personal experience, the HG2s outlast the AWs threefold, at least. I may actually pick up a couple more to use with the Radius. I paid $17 for the pair from a reputable seller on Amazon.

Oh one more thing.

The "replaceable battery" in the Radius, I assume that is user replaceable?

Is there a link for that battery up yet? I assume it has a flat rectangular shape and needs to be ordered somewhere? Or is it garden variety 18650 form factor (cylindrical) that we are used to using in chargers?)

I put an otterbox on my ipad mini and it is now no longer the slim, lightweight device that is the whole point of having one. However, not sure I wanted to leave a $200+ device nekkid as I am a klutz and live a harder lifestyle out in rural environment unlike someone who lives more urban lifestyle. Always a toss up. Not like you can *easily* remove an otterbox cover either. So it remains more like a heavy anchor now than a lightweight device. :(

Boy that UAG cover on you galaxy looks fantastic!!!!

The Radius ships with a Samsung 18650 - your garden variety form factor :) Yes, it is user replaceable.
So far I just use a USB cable to charge mine. My husband looked at me strange the other day..'are you charging that with your kindle cable??' well, it was handy!

It's made so one can replace the battery, but has a USB port (expected to be above average quality) and it made in a way to encourage use of the USB port. Whatever 18650 batteries ProVape is selling will work well with the Radius, flat top or button top. And, it can be used like a pass through.

If I recall correctly, I believe that 0 in 18650, 18350 etc. is for Round. :) 18 -- radius of battery, 65 length, 0 for shape, in mm.

My Radius and Kabukis arrived !!!!!!!

Black Onyx - Noiceeeeee !!

Kabuki - Noiceeeee!

Put da Bobas in Kabuki - Noiceeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Using Radius - Dead Easy (WTF 460 trouble wit menu Doh)

Unscrewing Kabuki - Little tight no biggy.

Both Great Units well made and go together nicely.

Bobas Bounty is a tad Sweeter and smoother in Kabuki compared to Nautilus and Silo Tank

Now wait for postman for P3 TI Stealth sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Really pleased with my purchase dose exactly what its meant to with little fuss or bother.

Cheers Provape and Zen
