You can buy enough vape stuff to get started for what a carton of cigs cost. And within a month or two you will have saved enough from quitting smokes to go buy top shelf vape gear. From there, it's all gravy (unless you make a hobby of it).
I get that point but people who dont frequent forums wouldn't know this. Out of all the vapers I know, I'm the only one on ECF.

I recently had some clown (a complete stranger, mind you) tell me that by vaping, I am still smoking. When I attempted to explain the difference to him, he started getting loud. I just rolled my eyes at him, shook my head and walked away.
I encountered something similar today. Dude (on a forum somewhere) proceeded to say how disgusted he is by people who claim they quit smoking by vaping but merely we're still smoking & the smell of vapor makes him want to "throat punch" us.

My reply was thraot punch yourself!

I am still waiting for the Ghost White to be available, but in the meantime I'm obsessing over the mini usb port. While I ordered some white plugs, I am wondering why ProVape didn't make the covers built in. My old phone, and I truly mean old, had a neat little plug cover that was connected to the phone so it didn't get lost when the phone was plugged in. I can't find a picture of it opened, but it looked like this when it was covering the usb:

Maybe I'm just losing it, but it would be a nice feature, right?
And the first thing I'd always do is get rid of those plugs. They were always getting in my way.

Mine just arrived! got the Silo on it and tootling away at 12w LOL!
No usb cover on it tho' ... not that I'm really bothered as it was gonna stay in the box anyway ... but think that at $295Aud it should be in there...
it's a tad heavier than I thought it would be, but overall ... I'm rapt:hubba:

My P3 is back home too, double rapt :vapor:

There will always be people like this. They need a group they feel justified in doing violence to.

Nothing new there.

Let's see Blacks, Gays, Jews, Untouchables, Christians, Moslems, Catholics, Protestants, Etc., Etc., and on, and on, way back in the past, and on into the future.

Hate to say it but, to some degree, it's ingrained in Human nature.

My mother was big on tolerance.

She always told us, "You can dislike someone but you must never hate them."

That may be the answer ultimately: nurturing our children not to hate.

No child is born hating anybody! Discrimination is the result of a child learning what and who to hate as is demonstrated in the child's environment during the formative years.
We quite literally "teach" our children discrimination. Not by sitting them down and giving them a talk on who they should hate, but by putting them in the environment where they can see hate, as it's happening.

People need to learn that even though THEY have become crippled by the hate which is present in the environment, that they will ONLY end the cycle of hate by not being hateful and discriminatory in front of their children. This basically means they need to stop discriminating. There are no spoken words that can stop it. The unspoken words of hate are what will put an end to it. This isn't for the impatient... It will take a couple generations of awareness... it cannot be overturned in a single generation.

I did not mean to imply, nor did I say, that we are born hating anything or anybody.

What I meant was that, for whatever reason, there are those that need to hate it would seem.

And I'm not sure that there is anything one can do for some in that regard.

But if there is an answer it would be found in how we raise our children, just to clarify.

Yeah I got it, and it resonated in me, so I expanded on it, forcing my will on your thoughts... it's what I do.

Oh, and I hate you... ;)

This reminds me of a very sad 60 Minutes segment I saw many years ago. They were interviewing current age Nazi's in America. The father they were interviewing asked his 4 year old son the following question: "Who Do We Hate?" to which the 4 year old said: "We hate the jews." I've never gotten that clip out of my head. No I simply have not.

Being Jewish and Gay, I've seen a lot of hatred and discrimination in my life..........

In the end, batteries cost what, $8 - so you're spending $4/year on batteries? While this has been educational, I say use them however is most convenient for you, and when they don't last as long, get a new one.

I think John settled the battery issue. It's basically the least expensive item we use to vape and by reading other threads some members are determined to buy a cheap battery to save a buck or two. I do know even top name batteries can fail, such was the case with my Galaxy S5. After a month it wouldn't hold a charge and although batteries are not under warrantee T-Mobile gave me a new one and it's been fine ever since. My point is having a spare is never a bad thing.

you're the fanboi...I only have 7 ProVaris. (check out our join dates)

The fanboi title goes to the one and only @WillyZee
