Ordered on 10/17/15, shipped on 10/23/15, received on 10/27/15 to NC. Less than one week to ship, 3 days to east coast. Midnight blue Radius.
Wow that would be great if mine ships sometime this week with my Kabuki tank. I ordered the Onyx.

The fact Provape pays for this forum has no bearing on whether a person likes a device or not. You keep mentioning who pays for what--almost making it seem {IMO} that every thread related to a Provape device must be glorifying Provape. Realistically that's never going to happen.

At some point you & others are going to have to make a choice to ignore Lem. Not once has he attacked any of you yet somehow his opinion keeps rattling your nerves. If he wants to post what he perceives as flaws, quite honestly that's his right. Lem is not the 1st nor the last going gaga over the Radius. He just happens to be more vocal about it.

As far as his avatar--it started with an admin saying it was horrendous to someone else calling it a selfie--THAT {IMO} is not cool. His reply was not an attack back.
Since when did it become OK around here to attack a person cause you & others don't like their opinion?

Is the ignore feature no longer in affect?

Of course not every Provape thread has to glorify Provape. Lem could certainly start a thread in the General Vaping forum pointing out all the flaws he sees with the Radius. But I do think in this case, this is indeed Provapes house and this isn't the place to show disrespect.

But your points are fair, so I'll back off. Yes I will. And Lem, if you see this, I do not. I repeat, I do not, wish you any ill will. I'm betting if'n we had the chance to meet in the real, we'd like each other and share a vape. You could show me your Reo. I've not actually ever held one.

I kinda think I'd like the radius to have the p3 menu. I like the battery indicator to have the numbers. I can vape at 20 watts and have it read 40% and go back to 9mwatts and it would read 52%. it does the same as the bar , just easier for me to comprehend.

I also like the iq. I like to know the condition of my battery. on the 2.5 I would check it slightly unscrewed and then screw it down to get the reading at rest and under load. I would know my batteries should be replaced if the difference was around.4 or more. I recently had one read a .5 difference so I put it on my p3 and it showed an iq of 15. an easy way to show this battery has had it. without a reading in volts this would be difficult.

there is a third point but since tequila is involved I can't remember.

will this sway me on wanting the radius. heck no. I think mthe radius will be my favorite and these slight quibbles will become much ado about nothing in my enjoyment of a new awesome provape device.

Try turning the 2.5 off. The battery voltage on Cb should show "at rest" voltage without firing the device. The Ao reading should show if your atty connects but won't show actual resistance. I've got three 2.5's and they all work this way. It is kinda nice. Turning it back on puts you into ProVari bliss once again. Cheers

That is Quality, off to check out her other work now, always wondered where it was from!

Now that is what I call art, amazing talent went in to creating that, I must be strange then as I always thought lemmywinks avatar was a quality choice but then i've been a horror movie, creature feature nerd since I was a kid :)

I'm a horror movie buff myself and I definitely agree with you on considering that sculpture amazing art.

My personal opinion is that I like the Radius menu and button system. To me it is simple. I actually like the click on the up and down buttons, though I did not expect to.

On the other hand, I can't stand the multiple button pressing on many of the newish high end and low end devices. I need a keyboard and drop down menu's and a help button....or carry around a user manual, which often are not available. Once set up, they can be used. But---when it locks when you didn't ask it to -- or switches modes by accident. Eeks! Plus, it is a pain to keep track of which device does it which way

Provi 1,2,2.5,2.75 may have an "old" system -- but it is quite easy to learn and retain that knowledge.

Provi 3 -- Love the data on the first button press and the second, navigating menu's is easy, though it takes practice to find some things. It quickly became my first choice, because of those first 2 screens.

Provi-Rad -- Adding the up and down buttons a plus -- faster. The click on the up and down means I can adjust one or two clicks and not have to look at the screen. And, even though most never turned off their Provi 1, 2, or 2.5 -- I did on occasion. So, I like the 3 second or so press, once I did it a few times. I like having an icon menu for the other features.

I'm a KISS vapor --- Provi works for me and I really like knowing that I could put one aside for months and still be able to pick it up and use it -- because I can easily figure out how.
Actually, I'M the KISS vaper...

I was. And I could live with the two thumb screws on the battery cap and the slow charge rate. The way they designed the menu just kills it for me.
May have already been asked/answered, but...

What mod menu system do you like?

Thanks, Jim

I like the SX Mini menu and my favourite is the DNA30 menu... simplicity at its finest. If I could change the Radius menu to behave like the DNA30 menu, I would buy it right now. I don't need boost settings, scroll speed or anything else. Let me change the wattage without the scrolling nonsense and I'm a happy camper.

The boost feature is Alien Magic ... that alone makes the P3 and the Radius that much better than the others.

So I've returned back to my Provari's with the release of the Radius.
I had mine for a week before the unit failed for [7] atty problem.
Opened a ticket and after a bit of discussion the mod is on its way back to Provape. Shipping mine back today and I've been told the replacement is also shipping today.

Even with the problem of a defective unit I went ahead and ordered a second Radius. First is blue and the second is red. *(mmmm, and then a white one for the entire flag?)

I had ordered a couple of Kabuki tanks to go with the Radius and I am amazed by it's performance. I've been using the Silo tanks with Natilus coils as work and walk around tanks and the difference in performance is more than justification of the cost. I've kept using them on my P3 which hasn't seen use for months.

I have a ton of mods and with the Radius I have to say that Provari has rejoined my regular line up along with the REOs. They just work.

PS: Lem, the wattage change doesn't require going into the menu. Just hit the +/- buttons and wattage changes as needed.

Regards,
Frank

I found that I was chasing the "shinny" until recently. In a way I was lucky that my first "high end" mod was a Provai 2.5. I also chanced to get a couple of REOs and was happy with those as well. I managed to get a P3 beta and was "meh".
Off I went chasing the new and shinny following the intertubes way too much.
Now I've settled on low wattage tanks and regulated mods for work and travel. When I want to play with cloudz or dripping it's back to the REOS.
Like I said, they just work and I've been off cigs for 1 1/2 years. That makes my family and doctors happy.

WOW! I haven't used either of my REO's in forever......Looks like I won't start today either. ;)

**sips coffee**

Note 5!!!
Yes, the Reos are wondering why they've been confined to the china cabinet. They are elegant little devices, but a bit fiddly for me, these days. In truth, the Radius isn't getting a ton of love, either; she comes out for an hour or so a day, during cocktail hour. The rest of the time, if it's a ProVape, it's my beloved P3's

I really like the scroll-y screens. And the IQ. And the VV ... :)

Is it the form factor? I've become the exact opposite. My P3 get's less and less use as I have taken to liking the Radius more and more. I can't tell any difference in the vape quality. I just like how the Radius fits in my hand, how simple it is to adjust and the battery lasts significantly longer.

Dunno, Sir Rod. Could be, though I quite like to way a REO Woodvil or a BB feels in hand, and the three mods are similar in size. I like the weight of the P3 and I like how it feels in my hand. It's familiar and comforting, in an odd sort of way.

Funny how different people like the feel of one thing over another. Now when I hold my P3, it feels familiar, but less comfortable. Maybe it's a guy thing......LOL

My P3 has taken 2nd place to the Radius ... probably more because of the batt life then the style of box vs: tube. I get at least a day out of it. P3 in 18350 mode is too many batt swaps per day. 18490 mode is OK - just 1 swap per day. 18650 mode is just too long, particularly w/ a KFLv4 on topping it off.
