...But... people don't like it when diameters don't match.
------
I made a device with a 28mm wide tank for fun... held 10Ml and wicked pretty well. Ungainly little spud, it was.

....what?

Lost track - I assume we're talking about the Kabuki? I'm sure Zen's worked out the sweet spot for tank volume vs vacuum to keep the wicking saturated based on the Nautilus coils' juice hole size. So I would agree - changing the volume changes the wicking behavior. Knowing Zen, that tank is as fine-tuned as it can be.
You really owe it to yourself to experience the Kabuki first hand...

I think you'd love it!!!

I know it would be a niche market, but the Radius appears to have a lot of unused surface area on the top of the device. Seems like a good place to put a juice reservoir tank attachment system (is that even a real thing?) or design a tank that molded with the device's body and took advantage of at least some of that area but did not add any height and thus avoid the wicking issues. All in a neat package that does not exceed the length or width of the device and avoids the dreaded "Vape Pop" syndrome.:)

I'd love to, but nowhere to try one out, and Zen won't send me a review sample... :p

I'd take a chance if it were $30-ish, but... I don't tend to blind-buy expensive atty's/tanks (which is why I have a small clone collection - while not exactly the same as the authentic, gives you a pretty good idea what to expect). Some of the clones ended up never being used again, some were replaced by the authentic, and some were gifted as first setups to smoker friends.

Throw a 1.8Ω coil on there... single coil... 29-32Ga... have the patience for it to come up to heat... at about 17 watts... just humor me.
That's my go to starting coil for all atty's zen. It worked ok but was miles better when overpacked with cotton taking up some of the chamber volume. Good atty, just not really tootle puffer friendly. My bench mark for any dripper is first if it has single coil options and how well it works in single coil mode. I find most drippers toss in a single coil option as an afterthought. Ironically, still one of the top single coil drippers is the old smoktech octopus.

Resale on classies might be worth a look, after you tried it?!?

Just for the record I put a 1.2 ohm build in this STM RBA deck for my little sister to use on this Provari V2...she likes MTL and is happy with this set-up, least for now as she's a newbie ..I'm just happy she quit smoking tobacco...[emoji4]

Lil' Sis is starting out her vape journey with a nice set up. But I'll bet she's a sweet thing and deserves it. Good job Bro! Take care of your little sis.

Thanks for that! I appreciate it...

SO... bigger tank... I'd love to, but the original design that nobody ever saw had a larger tank, and it didn't wick well enough for thicker eliquds. Smaller tanks wick better, that's the bottom line... so I always ask, which would you rather have... flavor or capacity? If the answer is Flavor, then this is big as we get at the moment. If you want capacity... let me introduce you to the Aspire Triton... As much capacity as you would need, with 1/2 the flavor.

Yeah, if I can't have both, I opt for flavor. It's pretty easy to top off the juice when needed.

Without a doubt, flavor trumps all else. One if my first tanks was the Nautilus, which I loved for its 5ml capacity and what I thought was good flavor at the time. After I got the Russian 91%, the Nautilus became my backup tank. In fact, after not having used it for a couple of weeks, I threw it on my P2.5 and was surprised at how subpar the flavor was. It's now been relegated to the "backup of the backup" status and will probably spend most of its time sitting in my vape drawer.

Prior to leaving for work this morning, I threw a bottle of e-juice into my bag. The Kabuki/Radius combo is now my daily driver.

I'd also like to try before buy; especially considering the price and the fact that for me, all the must haves turned out to not so great. So then I'm left with an atty I'll never use again & much too lazy to put in the classies.

You should check out some 17mm atty's. I have the Anima dripper (hybrid on Nemi), the Arrow genny (hybrid on a BaGua), and the IGO-S with Cap-It-All brushed cap (17mm dripper, 510 for any mod, cheap to try).

Resale on classies might be worth a look, after you tried it?!?

Interesting idea... I'll consider it.

Now THAT's the spirit! Amazing how many times that DOES work. "Hey, that's cool. Can I have it?" :)
