The Mac lets you have several desktops......

Windows 10 does also (I think it was added in Windows 8, but what poor soul ran that POS?).
Every other Microsoft OS really sucks (Win98, WinME, Vista, Win8); the rest suck less.
Here's a screenshot of my Win10 desktop, just above the taskbar:

How do you like it? Was thinking of upgrading my "only for Radius software upgrade" machine to Windows 10.

To be honest, I liked Win7 a lot better. Win10 is hard to get used to. I really hate the start menu, and therefore am running Start10, which easily lets you switch between 3 looks...

Start10: Software from Stardock Corporation

Stardock has a lot of useful tools as well. Consider the whole bundle (though not all of them run on Win10, yet).

Interesting. Guess I'm going to have to check it out further and also Stardock.

Windows has a couple of programs that will allow you to do that - Ultramon and ObjectDesktop are two. In Linux you can run VMWare Workstation to have Windows and OS X. On the Mac, I prefer using VMWare Fusion to run Windows. I read that you have to upgrade Parallels for every major upgrade to OS X?

I have not been on the frum for a long time. Just been happily vaping with my gun metal Zencoat Provari v2.5 and lost track of time. Anyway after going out with friends the next morning I noticed that my 2.5 was nowhere to be found. Fortunately I still have my 1st Provari and a spare addy. As one would expect I went to the Provape site and was surprised to learn about the new Radius and I liked the look of it. It being on Cyber Monday Provape was running a sale so I pushed the button and ordered one in black along with a Gold Zencoat 2.5 to replace my missing in action 2.5. That along with A Kabuki 510 from MTBaker and I am now again good to go or so I thought. After making my purchse I was very surprised to see so many negative comments about the Radius. I am not familiar with all of this new tech, temp control 100 watt, 200 watt PV's ect. I hope I didn't just buy yesterdays newspaper for $200. Is all of that extra stuff really important? I am starting to feel like I just purchased a really well made 8 track tape player while everyone else seems to be talking about their MP3 players. Boy I really hope that that is not the case because the way Provape makes thier stuff this Radius will probably outlive me and then I would not have an excuse to justify buying a new PV.
The only thing I can tell you is that I see all these new "fancy" devices up for trade and sale within a few days of someone having them. I see them complain that this or that does not work. Then they go out and buy something new. They seem to spend twice the amount of money in the end. They don't stay with any one topper or any one mod. I just want something that works. I am not a cloud chaser so this suites my vaping needs well. I have not gotten the radius, but I will be ordering mine today. I have been waiting due to finances. I have looked at other devices and decided that provape as a whole gives me the best bang for the buck. The only reason I got any other mod was due to size. I needed something smaller. Now that provape has done that there is no reason for me to look any where else. I will have my vaping nirvana in a few weeks and I cant wait.

I had the exact same thought, F2V.

And does anyone know how I upgrade the firmware on my v2.5's? Do I need an Atari 2600, or will my Sega Genesis work?
I think you need to step up to the Commodore 64 for that?;)

ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It didn't have a mind of its own. It always did EXACTLY what I told it to do.
Even if it wasn't EXACTLY what you meant :(.

But it is why I prefer using Linux with the command line - but using a browser in command line mode is a bit more difficult - I do prefer the GUI interface for that.

Maybe there's something "off" about me (you guyz control yaselves, ok) but I quite like Windows 10. It's very stable and for me, has been quite easy to adapt to.

You get more work done looking at a phone?

There's this thing where you can have lots of windows open on your computer at the same time and go back and forth. That way you can work and read. Maybe it's just a Mac thing...

With my phone, I pick it up every now and again, read new messages, respond, put the phone back down and resume working. If I had the forum up on my monitor, I wouldn't get any work done at all, knowing myself!
