Those black walnuts are good tasting though, once you manage to get the shell cracked. I lived on a 25 acre farm for six years and we had a lot of walnut trees. You just never park under them this time of year and for sure don't want to stand under them.
The crows have it figured out. They wait alongside the roads for cars to run over 'em at this time of year. Smart!

Got my contest prize today! Ordered 30mls of vanilla chocolate and mint, blank cartos and a raspberry auto batt(cause one isn't enough!) Mixed the chocolate with the mint and it was bliss, mixed a dash of mint in the vanilla....and wow. I don't know how I ever lived before! Yummy stuff! Thanks again for the contest imagine!

I was wondering how mint would taste with vanilla. Thanks!

NOT very peaceful today!! Have ya ever seen the movie Castaway with Tom Hanks? He's lying on the beach and keeps hearing these loud thuds all around him. It's driving him crazy cuz he doesn't realize what is causing it - and yells out "What is that?!" I've got the same thing going on all around me with black walnuts. Those suckers can be LOUD!

I never realized how loud squirrels are until I went to visit my brother, who also lives in the country.

I have been having so much fun since I received my new sealed batteries today! :) So far, I've mixed together mint and chocolate, cherry and chocolate, and vanilla and mint.

The mint and chocolate tastes almost as good as the Girl Scouts' thin mint cookies. The cherry chocolate tastes like one of those chocolate cherry candies that you get in a box. I'm sitting on the fence about the mint and vanilla. I'm tasting the vanilla, with a somewhat minty aftertaste. It's fun to experiment!! :D

As for the batteries, they are great. Now I can refill my cartos without having to worry. Thanks SI!!

How do you crack the shell? I hear it's next to impossible. We have a tree in the backyard.

SandySu, I feel much better now seeing Penny with a friend. They both looked very contented - thanks for posting the pic. :)

I knew I heard a note of worry in your voice (even though it's typed), which is why I posted the 2nd photo. Also, it gave me practice doing it again. You don't have to worry; I'm very careful of Penny's care, and she would be absolutely miserable without other horses around. So far, she's out with Willy most of the time and sometimes a bay Thoroughbred named King, too. But both Willy and King miss their old herd, and the barn owner doesn't feel comfortable about turning Penny out with the whole herd. She is still trying to figure out which horses will go best with which. Penny gets along with just about any horse. She is pretty mild-mannered and will let them bully her. We humans might mind this, but horses seem to take it in stride more. At least Penny does. A horse herd has a pecking order, and when a new horse is added, sometimes there's violence till they sort out the order, even among the horses who were in the herd to begin with. This is why the barn owner is being so cautious, so no one gets hurt.

Yesterday, she was out with Willy, but the vet was coming to see some of the horses, among them Willy, who is very old at 30+, his teeth are all worn down, and he has a heart murmur. Since Willy had to be taken into the barn and Penny had to stay outside, she was pretty unhappy for a little while, but then she went and stood by the fence where the other horses were on the other side, and she was just fine, knowing other horses were close by, even though they were separated by a fence.

Now the challenge is that when I take her into the barn to groom her, she gets worried. She was fine about this at the old barn, so I'm sure she'll be fine again here, but she still needs to settle in. It's been less than a week since she was moved, and she's not used to going to new places since I don't take her to horse shows, etc.

So that's a little background for you on Penny's present pasture situation.

Rave, I got my P-Touch labeler. Do you recommend installing the software?
Oh how cool!! Yes, yes - Install the software. It is really very helpful. Also, make sure that you look through all of the pics that they have available in the program. Or - you can choose clear pic representing different flavors for images. If you have any troubles, feel free to PM me. Yay! I'm so excited for you!! :)

Whoohoo, the post man did it!

Now I be styling with my new hole-less Auto battery!

Really surprised, the draw seems to be fantastic! I mean, I know its what we have all come to love about SI and shouldn't expect any less... but still was afraid there might be at least a minor difference - yet there isn't at all that I can see!

Ease of an Auto, resilience of a Man and performance of a Volt - they are just perfect!

So now I can honestly say that I feel as though my previous batteries will likely be turned into the emergency backups as soon as these hit the shelves in my favorite colors. Because realistically, my not being the best of Carto fillers (as some of you may know if you caught my song lyrics, hehehe) is completely counteracted while not forcing me to remember which Cartos may be leaky and which are safe to use on what battery. Now its any new Hole-less Auto with any Messy Carto and go!!!

Thank you again SI, truly the best!

Darkstar- as far as non-SI juice, I use rockstar vapor with an 80/20 PG/VG ratio. Their fruit flavors are some of the best Ive had, and their pricing is great. 5 15ml bottles for $25. Mix and match. I never much cared for vaporrenu, though I found out they are sister companies. I reccomend their peach, bubblemelon, and apple cinnamon.

Great, thanks for the suggestions! Will definitely go into my "to try" list on my search for fun flavors!

Well, until SI just breaks down and expands their juice selection to cover all my vaping desires that is!
(...*cough*cinnamon red hot*cough*...)

Other than Smokeless Image's flavors, I almost always DIY my own. I sent you a PM with my recipe for pear, which is my Number 1 favorite. Good luck!

I do make my own nicquid at home..or should I say I use to..HA!, now I just have a big tackel box filled with DIY that just sits:facepalm:

With cartomizers,... ether all pg or better 20vg 80pg works best for them IMO.. To much vg = muted flavor, and worse..a burning taste after just a couple fills. It gunks up to quick for me. I have made 80vg 20pg juices that taste great but I hate the frequent cleanings cause now days I have become very lazzy

hehehe, let me perfect filling Cartos before getting me too over my head, okay guys? :D hehehe

But thank you for the info, and really, it was all filed away in the "oh, I'm gonna need this later on" file :D
