I saw so many objections to the Likes to decide a winner. I never felt the Likes were a popularity contest but more like a vote of the populace. I always Like posts I like, not just the ones of the most popular members. In fact, in contests, I usually read the entry before even looking at who posted it. I never won any of the contests, so this is not because I was a winner. However, one problem with the Like system is that sometimes I won't get to read the last few entries before the contest closes. The last one, I only managed to Like those before the contest closed because Imagine gave us a bit more time to do that. I enjoy that I have a very tiny say in what I think is best.
I can see how the "Like" system can be abused...but I'd be really disappointed if the rant about it is the one that ends up winning this one...

Here's the best pic I could get with the provari and the volt carto attached using my craptastic phone. This was using the ohm checking function of the device.

OK. Looks like I have another reason to be glad I didn't get into all the technical bits of mods and just stick with simple Volt batts & cartos.

I was going to get out my own meter and try this, but I'd probably end up reporting the resistance of my thumb! :p

EDIT: I did a quick test anyway and learned something: with the pre-filled cartos and used blanks cartos, I measured more towards SteelJan's numbers (between 2.5-2.9 ohms). However, then I tested a brand new, never been filled blank carto fresh from the foil and measured about 3.1 ohms. (All this done with a 30-year-old Radio Shack analog volt/ohm meter - YMMV!). I'm wondering if cartos that have, or have had, juice in them show slightly less resistance due to (traces of) juice being slightly conductive?

I personally have not see a difference in draw between the 2 and if anything I think the draw is stronger on the sealed ... Keep the feedback coming and let men know thanks :)
This makes me think the unsealed batteries should remain in stock, not be replaced by the new ones.

Resnbl will see what I can find out on that, enjoy testing new theories. Can tell you haven't noticed that with dual coil and vertical coil cartos (infact the opposite, resistance goes up after they've been in use for a while without cleaning), but haven't done any real extensive tests on horizontal coil ones...
